Killing dogs is definitely something to rant about. especially when it's over a disease that has been treatable for well over a hundred years.. unbelievable.

Oh, no! I'm late. I haven't been around for a while, but this is a good reason to return! Happy Birthday AGD#1! "Success usuallly comes to those who are too busy to be looking for it." --Henry David Thoreau "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. Security is mostly a supersti...

Very nice, I like this. You've got an eye for the big picture. I believe this is why there are so many fans of the QFG and KQ series.. these games spark our imagination. Well, Vivendi holds the rights.. with the re-release of these classics.. if there is any real success they might utilize these...

The Avatar's Avatar
Hmm.. My Avatar.... <looks> Yeah, that's a picture of me. I actually took that on my birthday, in June of 2002 I believe. I was dressed up like Robin Hood, for a fun dinner at Medieval Times. I hope to get a new picture soon to better represent who I am today. 4 years ago won't cut it anymore, ...

This reminded me of Angelus: I took a 'which movie superhero are you?' quiz, and this is what I got. http://www.liquidgeneration.com/quiz/images/neo.jpg --other than downloading porn.. this quiz hit it right on the mark! I probably would be a Neo.. heh. You all should take it too and post your sup...

Re: top 10
hmm.. well i might have to update my list. I've given up World of Warcraft. Too much 'life' going on to play games these days. (except the occasional review or beta-testing, of course!) Oh, and seeing how Al Emmo is coming out first, I suppose a huge amount of time waiting for QFG2 will be spent ...

Yay for skins! I think they're all pretty awesome. They're so much fun to browse in. I feel like I'm in a forum when I'm using the blue skin, while I feel like I'm in AGDI's forum when I use the game-specific ones! I think I've said this in other threads, but I LOVE the desert, which is why I ch...

Welcome Zypher!
<reads Jenkins Loo's post> Woops! Zypher! so sorry i misspelled your name there! Don't worry, i fixed it. Yeah, i REALLY loved the green/white colors of the old boards.. After all, those are my two favorite colors. The blue just doesn't do it for me. I like the desert QFGII themed look though!...

Crash and the Oscars
Hmm.. I liked the movie okay, but it wasn't a 'best of' in my book. I did like how they linked some of the characters together by the end of the story.. remeniscent of Magnolia, but I thought it was very predictable.

heh.. i thought the black suit was just something he donned around the time he fought Venom.. but i never saw or read a single Venom based spiderman episode/comic..
But from a layman's point of view, that's Spiderman in a black suit, not Venom

"We're also in the process of preparing somewhat of a surprise for the future (two of them, actually) which fans of the first two King's Quest remakes should enjoy, but to say any more at this point would be telling." AGD2 says they're int he process of preparing two surprises 'for the fut...

a new hero to play
Well, Simon the Sorcorer is the closest we've come to playing a real wizard in the adventure gaming world I think.. I've always wanted to make a game where you play a wizard's apprentice, and it's taken seriously. I suppose Loom came pretty close, but mr. Threadbare was a far cry from the tradition...

Time for some ranting
OMG! My roommates totally bailed on me, so i had to move out of the apartment. I asked the office what i could do and they said.. give a month's notice, and pay %80 of one month's rent at the end, and you're good.. no eviction! I told them and they said, 'okay, i'll pay my third'.. they still hav...

He pulls out the fruit of compas...

How Much would I pay for a brand NEW Sierra adventure game?
I don't have a lot of money, but I'll put it into a game I'm convinced I'll love.. I'm a real sucker for "Collector's Editions". I've paid $70 for a game knowing I'd get a special movie/interview with the game's creator on the disc, and special Collector's Edition concept art on real ...

Adventure Games Rehaul
Awesome post Adeyke! I agree with every point you've made. I wonder if it's possible to make an adventure game that avoids all these problematic situations? Or if reality shows that Adventure truly is and always will be dead in comparison to other genres? Everyone seems to consider the GK series...
