I wish these images were from an adventure game, because I'd definitely play it.

Re: Quest for Glory fan projects

These are all the fan games related to or inspired by QFG that I know of: Quest For Glory 2 VGA, Quest For Glory 4 ½, Hero of Infamous Kingdoms, Hero6, Project Katrina, Quest for Infamy, Adventurer's Quest/Nightfall, Struggle For Life & Honour, The Unknown Hero, The Glory Project, Re-Quest For ...

Day 3, after sundown, fighter [spoilers]

I've never played the original QfG II, and just started QfG II VGA as a fighter. It is now day 3 and the night is still young, but I'm not sure what to do next. The only quest I've been given so far was "bring a piece of Dervish beard to Keapon Laffin", and I've done that. I've also watere...

Re: German Translation?

I've just started playing QfG II and I noticed that there are a lot of puns in the game.
They would be very hard to translate into German.

The name "Wages of War"

The third QfG game is called "Wages of War". I've always wondered what the word "wages" means in this context. Does it mean "money received for work"? Is it a made-up noun based on the expression "to wage war"? Maybe both? Please help me, I'm not a native spea...

Bug in Yorick's Maze

A long time ago, I completed the EGA version of QFG 1. In Yorick's Maze , I went through a door (I think it was the small red one next to the "secret entrance") and the game dropped back to DOS, with the message "you did something we didn't think of". I had to move really fast at...

I think you should not have to call Microsoft to activate Windows.
While this may be necessary to combat piracy, I feel that it also gives MS too much control over the people who buy their products.

I haven't bought HL2 yet, because my computer is too slow.
Maybe I'll buy it once I get a better computer, and when a few mods have been released.

To return to my question...is there a list somewhere about what's going on with the KQ games (by Sierra or other), official or inofficial? Or something like a kind of forum with tech and other help where people exchange KQ ideas and experiences? Try this forum: http://www.queststudios.com/forum/vie...

The graphics are excellent, especially the portraits. I can't comment on the music pack, because trying to download it gives me a "Bandwidth Limit Exceeded" error. Maybe you could use BitTorrent to distribute it. I didn't find any real bugs, only a typo and some missing text, but since you...

I can think of three C64 games with female protagonists:
Cauldron
Great Giana Sisters
Bride of Frankenstein

There's also a list of video games with female protagonists on MobyGames.

Nevar!

I voted "no" because I use file sharing programs for legal purposes only.
Example: There's a website dedicated to C64 longplay videos, but you can't download them from the website itself. The website only has eDonkey links to the videos.

Have you ever been a patient in a mental hospital?

First of all, this poll is not a joke. I'm curious how many people here have experienced the mental health system first-hand. As far as I know, voting in a poll will not reveal your identity. I'm not asking people to "come out" about their mental illnesses here, but of course you can do th...
