I hate to do it, but I'll bring up QG4½. Should they have ripped all the sprites? Probably not. Was it funny and enjoyable? Yeah. Am I a worser person for playing? More than likely. Thus, I have no answer.

While I continue my wait (which also started nearly 4 years ago), I'm slowly prepping import characters from qg1vga. I'm planning on maxing out stats for each true-class character and maxing out the stats for a mixed-class thief. As soon as qg2vga comes out, I'm starting one hell of a marathon.

Did anybody else think that it was strange how the game with the best story (in my opinion, at least) had the worst bugs? (for anyone who hasn't figured it out yet, I'm partial to shadows). You also have to admit, the voice cast was supurb! (if only they had kept the same voices for Dragon Fire!)

Also, if you're running the dos version, you can always try the sierra recommendations (L2 processor cache disable, speed all the way up, detail all the way down), it doesn't always work, but it's worth a shot (it worked for me). And the patches do help a lot.

I could easily handle an updated (debugged) QG4. Even on an old computer, it's buggy as hell (good old error 52). At least that's how the cd version is. It'd be nice to see somebody fix that up.
