PQ3 is a SCI1 game, and SCI Studio doesn't support that yet.

I'd suggest you google SCI1 picture extract, or something like that.

Only thing that really bothers me is that I need to get up about 1½ hour earlier than last year. :x

Of course, if I can borrow the car, it'll be easier, but...

No, because the gnome in the game is not called Rumplestiltskin. The clue you quoted, Peter, says that his name is the reverse of Rumplestiltskin.

Yes, his name is BASED off of Rumplestiltskin, but it ISN'T Rumplestiltskin.

Edit: Damnit, Jafar beat me to it :P

It's a good idea to also include a link to the target page, in case the user has disabled META REFRESH commands, or is using a browser that doesn't support it.

Also, there is currently no pre-compiled win32 binary of FreeSCI, so you'll likely need to compile yourself or find an unofficial binary somewhere else.

For AGI, there are many different alternatives - I prefer NAGI, but there are many others, such as Sarien.

A CRC error usually indicates a bad download (though a bad upload is also possible, I think more people would have noticed if that was the case). Are you experiencing problems with downloading and using other files? If so, the problem is likely with your computer (network card, etc.). If possible, t...

[POKéTALK] The truck is not movable at all, so I have no idea how you could have found Mew there. I got Mew from Nintendo, in a small "pre-release" competition they held in their magazine before going on the promotional tour. Thusly, I was one of the 24 first people in Denmark to get Mew ...

Well then, get a MuVo. The small ones have up to 256MB, and can last up to 12 hours with just one AAA battery. Not to mention that you can plug it into any Windows 2K/XP computer and use it as a removable drive without needing the driver CD. Then there are also the larger models, which go up to 30GB...

I think .tk is the only country code where you can get permanently free domains. Every other country I know of takes an annual fee, usually between $10 and $20. Once you have the domain, you can find a cheap host for it and either have them host your site there or place a redirect. If you want to ge...

When will the Quest For Glory II VGA remake be released? Right now, we're not exactly sure when we will release QFG2VGA. It is currently slated for a late 2004 release, but this is subject to change. You can read about QFG2VGA's development in our frequently updated Designer Journals. And... RELEAS...

Fribbi, there's always going to be idiots like him. Next time he tries anything, get his IP, do a reverse DNS lookup (you can e-mail me for help with that, if you want), and complain about him to his ISP using that info. Be sure to note the date and time (noting the timezone) he used that IP, so the...

The only way to avoid EVER seeing spam, is not having an e-mail address. A good spamfilter might help, but there's almost bound to be some it doesn't catch. Of course, you could also make a filter that tells your client to only accept e-mails from certain addresses - but if someone changes ther e-ma...

I fail to see the guy who won under Cancelled/Retracted bids. Besides, aren't those bids removed from the bid history?

Still, the chances of the seller getting that money would probably be slim to none anyway.

VDMSound is designed for NT-based OS'es - that is, 2000 and XP.

Though I think there's a 9x-version, it might not work. And the "regular" NT version most clearly won't.
