IIRC, the company was formed by several members of the team that was developing Lucasart's cancelled Sam and Max sequel.

Re: new Sierra Classics collections on Amazon

Hmm.. on closer inspection, it appears the listed quantity is '1' for each 'collection'. If you look at any of the other new releases coming out soon, such as X3: The Reunion, or Black and White 2 you will notice their quantities are also 1. Thus this should have no bearing on the validity of these...

Actually they do have a QFG forum.  It's here, under the Roleplaying section rather then in the Action/Adventure and FPS section to which your link goes.

QFG2VGA will be released before mid-2005.
Well, seeing as how this is the second time they missed their release date, a conspiracy isn't out of the question. Hopefully the third times the charm. Although there's always hope they've been in secret beta testing... not. I'm not bitter, really I'm not.

I personally have mine organized into a tree as follows: Heres an example: C:\Classics\Sierra(game company)\KQ(game series)\KQ1(game) Currently my Sierra collection is almost complete, I also am working on a Lucasart's collection, as well as all of Origin's Wing Commander series, and a handfull of o...

To defend my preconvieved ideas though, I used to be a Beta-Tester for Microsoft and on one of their products they sent me a Beta copy of a program and asked me to check out a pile of stuff and send back the report so they could fix the bugs and release an Alpha release to the public. :rollin Sound...

They are nothing like biscuits, here is a crumpet Your right there nothing like biscuits. I would describe them as a really good smooth english muffin (rather then cutting them in half, they have the holes already on the surface, so they don't have the ridges). You can ge them in the US although th...

The problem is that If I enter the character creation screen and click on ANY of the buttons the game exits. Are you sure it is not just minimizing? That may sound like a stupid question but thats what it does for my when I first hit any button. At first I thought it was crashing but then I realise...

Thats a great idea, I remember when they did that over in the X2 forums for the release date of 1.4... it was great fun. I Claim December 25th, 2004!

Odd. I install QFG5, install the 1.2 patch, and run. No problems. I'm even running XP SP2 (which usually further breaks things). I never had to use the "special" XP patch. Dunno what your problem is. Thats odd... I have the same problems as Saallen. Maybe it's SP2? However it does work wh...

Well the release date in the QFG2VGA section of the site still says "sometime in 2004"... I would assume they would change it if they were sure it would be later.

But do you ever look past the first page of the forum for it? Only if I happen to be there for another reason. I'm not advocting a new forum. Just pointing out the irony in the fact that locked threads attract attention even if they can't be replyed to. On a seperate note: QFG2VGA looks great, good...

Yeah, making a LSL 4 would ruin the joke. If someone wanted to make a Al Lowe fan sequel they should make Freddy Pharkas 2. Aw, now that could be a great game. Probably not as great as QFG2VGA, (just got through looking at my original QFG2 character and I noticed a real lack of comuntication skill.....

I also liked Pepper's Adventures in Time (well, except that it's possibly even more buggy than QfG4). Even though it's an edutainment title, there are quite a few Monty Python references that kids probably wouldn't get. I just got finished replaying through gotten Pepper's Adventures In Time, I pla...
