Re: Mage's Initiation: Reign of the Elements

Wonderful news. I directly enlisted for a copy of this game. The gadgets are nice, but the reason to sign up (and actually buy the game ofcourse) had more to do with my expectations for the game itself ánd the desire to do something in return for all your amazing work. Please notify me If I have to...

Re: McCain or Obama

Whow, albeit a different perspective is often refreshing, this writer (Ali Sina) is taking a rather extreme position. AGDI2, I agree with your own words, but did you read the whole article? Some of these thoughts are interesting, but the article ends up in a very insulting and, in my opinion, rather...

Re: ** AGDI REDESIGN/QFG2 LAUNCH thread : COURSE 2 IN SESSION **

*Doh*

I wished I bought my special copy of Al Emmo only 2 weeks later. This would have saved me either money, or got me the nice qfg2 poster limited edition.

Ah well, guess you owe me something. How about a sneakpeek to Qfg2 ;)

Re: How much would you pay for a Sierra Adventure Game Nowadays?

I just received my special package of Al Emmo and I must say it looks stunning. Very professional, with a signed card as well. I'm going to try it later today to see if the game itself is just as good. If so, the money is very well spend. If not, than its good to know that developers of games such a...

Well, I can say for myself that I would pay for a game such as Kings Quest or, even more so, Police Quest or Quest for Glory. It really depends on the theme as well. I never was into Space Quest either. Moreover its always more difficult to sell the games without a "brand". That said, I re...

Yes, they indeed look better. There are still some perspective issues, but i really like the overall scenes. Are you interested in using your skills to actually develop qfgtype games? If so, I think there might be a perfect opportunity. Do you have icq/msn so we could further discuss the options? Th...

Very nice traveler. i REALLY like these pictures and would certainly like to see the other ones. How did you created these pictures? And do you have some sketches/pictures of a work in progress?

Great work! Are you still interested in creating such a game?

Thanks for the update

I agree with the other posters. Thanks for the hard work and the recent update. I have been waiting for this game ever since the AGDI's initially started with their plans so many years ago. And i'm sure its worth the wait, qfg2 was a fantastic game and i would love to see it with updated graphics. F...

Comment

Ok Alexander, i understand your position. If this project is mostly about testing your programming skills, you can ignore the earlier comments. That said, i applaud you for your efforts to train both your art and programming skills. If you are able to manage the both of them, there is little that ca...

Feedback

Alexander i think that the main problem with your backgrounds is that you only update the colours in the EGA/VGA transition process. The real difference between the EGA and VGA backgrounds is that the EGA not only supported less colours but also allowed for less detail. EGA backgrounds are just simp...

I'm very disappointed and frustrated as well. It's annoying to see people voting on such a delicate and important subject without having any clue about the issue. There are so many people with unbelievable unrelated reasons to vote no. The averange citizin does not have the time to actually read abo...

YES

My vote will clearly be in favour of the EU constitution. I really like things to happen more smootly at an european level, cancelling the veto right currently available for every country. Plus i see tje constitution as a next step to a true Union, which could economically be a strong block, althoug...

hmm

You seem to have used a sprite from indiana jones, the fate of atlantis. Eiether that or it resembles Sophia's sprite a whole lot. My advice would be too change the sprite a lot more and make it more unique.

Using unique material looks better imo

In my opinion you're attitude in these forums is a bit too arrogant Rog. You're talking like you have all the experience of the world, something i would certainly not conclude from your artwork shown here, The guys in this thread have been doing a great job in editing your version to help you.
