I've decided to extract character sets from SCI made games. In this case I extracted Roger Wilco character set from Space Quest 3 and retoned the colours of the character set in Corel Photopaint using colour masking and replacing colours. So the flesh tones and hair looks a lot better on him now ;) ...

I'd be happy to but I'm afraid I don't use credit card and if I did have a credit card I would not use it over the net because it is dangerous. I suppose I'll make a donation by money order but it would take at least a week to send money from Australia to Canada, but I'll think about it. Another pro...

Thanks for the advice though I've already tried that and it's a pain in the arse as I'm having difficulty getting all the animations in Roger Wilco's moves in Space Quest 1 VGA as I got to hit the print screen button at the exact right moment.

Oh well guess there's no easy way around it.

Can VGA games be made from SCI???

Hi all. Been also looking at SCI games which are EGA but better quality than the AGI games. Also tried loading VGA images in which successfully load but after saving them as a room and opening them again they are blank white. Just wondering can VGA games be made from SCI or only EGA??? Looking at Jo...

How do we extract sprites from Sierra games???

Hi all. Seeing that I can't easily make characters and have to do it the hardarse way which would be time consuming and getting the proportions right will be so difficult, I was wondering if there's any way to extract the sprites from VGS Sierra games and modify them for my own purposes so I can mak...

Looking for a character making program

Hi all. I'm thinking of having a crack at making an adventure game. I've had a crack at the AGS tutorial and successfully got the Roger Wilco character to pick up an object, walk behind scenes, talk to another Roger Wilco character so I'm getting the hang of it. Making scenes would be the easy part ...

Anyone creating Leisure Suit Larry 4?

Hi all. I've always thought in the past that it was weird that no Leisure Suit Larry 4 was made by Sierra and always wondered why.

Anyways just was wondering is there any fans out their making or thinking of making a Leisure Suit Larry 4 game?

Very nice job on the room remake of KQ3, looking forward to the finished product! :) Must say it's weird looking at a mix of VGA and EGA graphics, only other game I seen with a EGA/VGA combo is Space Quest 4 as you would of seen where Roger goes back in time to Space Quest 1. Anyways best of luck. C...

A funny idea for a remake of Kings Quest 5

Hi all. I know KQ5 is in VGA and doesn't need to be remade unless someone wants to upgrade it to VGA 640x480 or higher, but anyways I have a funny idea for the rat if the game ever gets remade. In Australia we use to have an afternoon kids show called "The Ferals" back in 1994 and a spinof...

New to the forums

Hi all. I'm new to the forums. As a big fan of the old Sierra point'n'click adventure games I've recently come across Tierra's remakes of KQ1 and KQ2 and downloaded them and currently playing them and enjoying them. Anyways eversince I was a teen in the mid 90s after seeing VGA remakes of Space Ques...
