They could always just pull a Quest for Glory 4 1/2 and compleatly ignore any and all requests to shut down with cocky and sarcastic replies. That game can still be downloaded from multiple locations.

Hey Quest For Glory 4 1/2 was a great game! Does anyone know if they got around to making that western they hinted about in the past?

I got to go with King's Quest. For it's time King's Quest II had one of the most elaborate death animations ever, Graham drinking the poison water and grabbing his throut choking and turning purple. I remember as a little kid watching that over and over cause I thought it was so cool. Nowadays you c...

If I'm not mistaken the person or people who started Hero6 are no longer with the team. After years of development I'd say it's unlikely to see the light of day. I remember back in 2000 when they talked about it being released in 6 to 12 months. Now it's five years later and they arn't even close.

I actually think a Kings Quest parody would be a great idea. You could even sell it as long as you didn't call it King's Quest or use anything from Sierra.

I have to say its pretty surpriseing how much work it takes to make a Quest for Glory game. Poor Hero6 I remember 5 years ago when team members would announce that the game would probably be out in a year. I think AGD will definately release Quest for Glory 2 vga before Hero6 ever gets something out...

If you arn't making money off the game I don't think there is a whole lot they can do anyway. I mean look at Quest for Glory 4 1/2 it was a shining example of copywrite infringment. I think Sierra wrote them a letter telling them to remove it from the web but they just wrote back an obnoxious reply ...

I have to say MoE brought me a lot of joy over the years, even though I never played it. I've always thought the reviews of it by disgruntled fans of the origional Kings Quest games were extreamly hilarious to read. I remember back when it first came out I went through one gaming site that had avera...

Actually I've always felt that what Kings Quest III really needed are lots and lots of cut scenes involving a side story about an alcoholic armadillo who's constantly trying to hook up with non-armadillo females.

I've always thought it was kind of unnecessarily cruel to shut down the abandonware sites that host sierra games. After all the vast majority of people trying to download those games are people who actually paid full price for them years ago and just want to check out the game again. I can understan...

I wonder if Sierra would ever consider selling the copywrites just to Kings Quest, if some other developer wanted it. That's happened to game franchises in the past. Although I'm sure it would still be quite expensive. Sierra seems to have no plans to do more Kings Quest games themselves. I wonder i...

Hero6
I didn't say Hero6 was bad or taking too long. I just said Tierra was above average judgeing by the current standard of how long it takes other fans to create a Quest For Glory like game.

I think the real question we need to ask is Quest for Glory II VGA closer to completion then Hero6 is? If so thats a pretty good acomplishment since (if I'm not mistaken) Hero6 has been in production since 1983. No offense to the Hero6 team though.

The puzzle I had the most trouble with many years ago when I played the origional Kings Quest was figureing out how to give the three treasures to King Edward at the end. There was only one exact line of text that would do it, if I remember correctly "Bow to the King". I tried "Bow&qu...

Kings Quest 5 Bug
I have a question for any of you who still have an old copy of Kings Quest 5. I'm currently running windows XP Home. And when I play Kings Quest 5 it runs fine both in regular XP mode and with DOS emulation. But at the very end of the game I always get the same bug. Right after the evil wizard is de...
