The letterbox did the trick. Why didn't I have to set letterbox in Apprentice game?

I run Apprentice games with same engine (?) in 640x400 resolution without any problem. But doing the exactly same setup in Kings Quest 1, I get out of sync problem on my LCD monitor. Something is wrong here. Seems it does not setup in 640x400 after all, but something else

Same here.. I just finished QFG I with a kick-ass Fighter/Mage.  Now to just go through the game again as a plain Thief.

What about the Hero's clothing? Will he start out wearing the brown vest and red cape, or the purple spandex and black cape; and then change into the arabian-style outfit with no cape? Sorry if this seems like a silly question.  Just looking for some consistency!  :) Again, can't wait 'til mid-2005!
