How will you keep the game secure so that the beta doesn't leak to the internet?

Erpy,

I'd personally would like to read more about the technical updates you posted above (being a computer science major), is there any way to get more of these feedbacks?

I'm waiting patiently for QFG 2

I'm not asking for updates. I haven't even visited the site in so long that it left my history. I can't believe how many people are asking about an update on QFG II, and not about Al Emmo.   If incase you haven't fully realized, they're not getting paid for their remakes.  They only do it to satisfy...

What's the reason AGD doesn't find another programmer with some free time to grind through the coding of QFG II? I'm sure there's alot of quality programmers out there with extra free time on their hands.  For example, look at the demo for a game this guy made.  Like QFG II remake, he took existing ...

Quest II & OpenGL

I've been demo'ing some of these wild tangent games, and they remind of the games I used to play when I was a kid.  Some of them even remind of the QFG series, only now with OpenGL.  Is Quest II going to have OpenGL?

Hi, Well if this is a serious question (which I have doubts about). It's serious. More practical. Say I want to send you a thousand emails to really piss you off using ms-windows. I could just open outlook express and start typing or I could create a program that ask the windows OS to create an com...

How does API work?

Hi, I know this is the "Game Making Forum" but I had to ask this question to programmers around because I've gone far enough into programming VB and this is something I've never been able to find a straight answer to.   Anyhow, when I was in junior high school, I had this friend who was a ...

I don't see myself putting pressure on the AGDs, other than creating rambling posts to try and entertain myself and others while we wait.  But in light of this, I find myself visiting this site less frequently, hoping I could come here in 6 months and be amazed that the game is available.   There's ...

Since it's so popular, I recommend that AGD put up a fund raiser. For $5,000 US, you can go on a date with AGD1.  All proceeds will go to the completion of Quest II, kind of like what porn star Mary Carey did in her run for California state governor.

Ehh.  It's not to provoke anger, even though I have anger towards irresponsible dog owners.  This is really an issue out where I live.  I'm serious about my question, basically I want to know what dog owners think.

Thanks.

Dogs

Hi. I'm not a dog owner and don't know too much about taking care of them.  What i do know, though, is that dogs in my neighborhood have created a nuisance that myself and other homeowners in my complex are beginning to dislike.   1) Dogs bark incessently during the evening / night.  To be more spec...

I used to think that AGD #2 resembled more of a John Carmack: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/p ... armack.jpg .  But he has more of the Dolph Lundgren look on IMDB: http://www.orfeo.ru/img/57.jpg .

And AGD #1, that IMDB picture must be really old I'm guessing?

How does a game work?

Hi, I'm asking a general question I've been really curious about.  I want to know what happens behind the curtains.  From what I've read, a game such as a first person shooter works as such: -The user inputs commands from the keyboard and mouse. -The engine interprets these commands and calculates w...

Navynuke, that's funny.  The school actually recommends we do homework every night by going out and "tasting" various drinks.  In school, we have a full bar with everything but the alcohol.  Bottles are filled with various food colorings to give it that genuine look, but obviously do not m...

How do you study?

On a serious note here, I know we have some very intelligent people on this forum.  Alot of you are students studying to become engineers or artists.   I, for summer, am taking a class to earn a bartender's certificate.  And this class is HARD!  There are around 200 drinks or so to memorize, on top ...
