Re: ** Quest for Glory II OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCED **
On a similar note, although I've finished moving, I won't have power until Friday. It does kinda suck (from my standpoint) that I had to miss the opening party, and will be unable to play QFG2VGA for almost another week.Blackthorne519 wrote:The release date sucks.

Re: ** COURSE 4 IS IN...SESSION. DAMN THIEVES! **
Actually, I agree with that statement, and not for reverse psychology either. I'm in the process of moving, and it'd suck, after all these years to have the game released during the few days I'll be without internet access.PotatoSlayer wrote:Don't you dare release the game tommorrow

Re: QFG1 Bug - highly annoying, but not impossible to play with
I've encountered that bug a few times myself. Like you, I've noticed that it seems to stem from picking magic mushrooms. did you get overloaded with them? I think that the the breaking point whenever I did it. It seems to corrupt the file outright, (meaning saving and reloading the game won't help) ...

Hmm, regarding the glowy electric-ness around his eyes, I was gonna say that that effect is too cool for someone who looks so bamboozled by his own powers to be allowed to have. But then, I guess that it does suit our hero in the first few games pretty fantastically. (especially if you tend to play ...

Remaking the game is great of you and all, but if you introduce bugs into the very fabric of space-time, I'm gonna be just a tad pissed off at you for it.malekdarshin wrote:You rock so hard the universe might actually collapse in on itself!

I trust the portion of code altered is simple enough that there's no foreseeable way this could introduce new bugs?Anonymous Game Creator 2 wrote:I've just finished implementing a last-minute change into the QFG2 remake

Hmm, I thought I'd tried a fighter with stealth in QFG1, and couldn't make the thief sign. It's been so long I may have forgotten though. Mybad.

I'm working on maxing out a character, and the only stat I can't seem to max is Climbing, it's stubbornly stuck at 87. First time really playing QFG1 VGA version. Climbed the tree, and the back alley wall a bit. Any suggestions? Go to the waterfall near where Hermit lives and try climb up on the ro...

Re: QFG2 VGA Prepartion - Show us your QFG1 character!
Well actually I find in the VGA it wont let you max everything out so my lockpick is like, at 92 and climb at 96 for some reason. I have a fully maxed thief. Lockpicking can be maxed, I believe, by picking the barred doors in town repeatedly (you gotta save constantly later on, or else you get caug...

Apparently the current theory floating around is that that game will be released at the same time as the solar eclipse occurs.
It remains to be seen, however, whether Vivendi will even allow them to do so.
