Klytos:  Go you, stud ;)

I'm done!  Had the employment law exam this morning, and it seems to have gone pretty well, so all I need to do now is wait and see what degree I get!  The feeling of release and relief is immense. :D

Klytos:  Is it possible for a magicless fighter to get those points? Everyone else:  Done it!  The problem is that you don't get the point for giving the magic mushrooms, which seems to be a timer glitch.  If you use dosbox and slow it down to about 2500 cycles, it then registers the giving of magic...

Funnily enough, I've been having this problem too, I'm stuck at 499 points, didn't think to check whether I got the point when I sold the healer mushrooms.  Bloody annoying.  I'm also using the Anthology version of QfG VGA, but I haven't installed either of the patches and I'm still having the probl...

The 'How was your day' thread!

Went trawling through the previous pages and couldn't find this type of thread, but apologies if I missed it. So, how was your day?  Do anything interesting?  More work/study/fighting off hulking necrotaurs with nothing more than a toothpick, a picture of Estonia and a smile? Today I studied more fo...

Interesting fact : Australia is the only country in the world where it is legal to eat our national animal! (If that's wrong, I heard it at the Melbourne comedy Festival so....) Thank God for that, I really wouldn't feel like tucking into Bulldog and Chips. Isn't our herald animal the swan? ;)

Thanks for a well-thought out response.  I am not opposed to all medical testing, but much of it is repetitive, and sometimes quite inaccurate.  However, as I said, medical science has advanced a great deal, but we still need a better methodology for testing.  With the advances in stem cell researc...

Would be a brilliant idea, but (the lawyer in me has to put a dampener on things) it is possibly unlikely.  To do so, you'd have to get various data release forms signed, then their are child protection issues to be taken into account, for those still in education, those who may be in witness protec...

I quite like the 2nd one, but I'm partial to blue.  The third is also good, very tasteful.  I'm with navynuke on the red dress though, it's more a colour for the bridesmaids than the bride.

I remember when I was sort of involved in that for about five minutes...must've been way back in 1999.  I contributed a little bit of concept artwork to the the endeavour, but a) I ran out of spare time and stopped contributing, and b) I wasn't actually any good.  Ah...good times.  :rollin

In response to GamerGal, I agree that unnecessary cosmetic testing on animals is wrong.  If the US is like the UK however, the cosmetic testing on animals should be highly regulated and extremely restricted, for the reason you mentioned; most of the chemical solutions used in cosmetics now are alrea...

Looks incredible!

So, what's the view on console gaming here?  Embraced or seen as a dumbed-down excuse for PC gaming?  Personally, so long as the rumours about a remake for Final Fantasy VII on the PS3 are confirmed, I'm sold.  :lol

Cute. :)
There's a 15 year gap between me (the eldest), and my youngest brother (now 6), and I remember his first word.  'No'.  This grew into an extensive vocabulary in a remarkably short time.  'No, no bath!'  'No sleep!'  'No eat.  YUCKY!'  and so on.  Ahhhhhh, the doorways language opens. ;)

By the way friends, now seems like the perfect opportunity to announce that I am actually a King in disguise.  What Kingdom?  That's not important.  Due to unfortunate events in my home country, it is not safe for me to hold my money here, and that is where you come in.  Being honest and decent folk...

I agree pretty strongly with Erpy on this one. Much of the 'debate' on the European Constitution in the UK has been media spin; the more conservative newspapers, such as the Daily Mail, make the EU out to be a petty, pedantic organisation whose sole purpose is to make life as difficult for the Briti...

Don't mind if I do!  Has been a troublesome journey over the Rainbow bridge, full of elves, gremlins, mosquitos, goblins and gerbils.  If it was made into a song, it would be a power metal ballad, with lots of choir-like choruses talking about journeys up mountains...any other Blind Guardian fans ar...
