Re: Download Glitch?

Unfortunately Erpy, it is an incomplete download as it states:

The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program.

Download Glitch?

Hey all, been a very long time as work is a bit distracting and a bit more demanding. Yesterday I went to download the updated versions of King's Quest I & II. I left my room during the download to return and notice that after KQIvga had finished, it was only around 55 megs & was actually la...

Re: QFG3

Was this printed in the magazine or on their website? Game Informer magazine did an article on our King's Quest remakes a few years back, which created a nice little publicity spike. :) If you're talking about the magazine, which issue is it? Ok, I know I've been out of the loop for a few months no...

Re: Quest for Glory Walkthroughs

Your best bet next to Google would be Gamefaqs. I was going to suggest the Quest For More Glory site, but they don't seem to have walkthroughs on there anymore, if they ever did at all.

Re: Random rants go here.

Having worked my first week in four years, I have to say it went pretty well. Pay is lousy, but I'll have to deal with it for the time being. And speaking of local smells, I now get to smell burnt coffee almost every night I have to work. *joy*

Re: Random rants go here.

Well seraphim, for some reason I feel like replying with the Star Bursts line "Blame the juicy goodness!!"

And while this isn't really a rant, it certainly is random. I can smell peanut butter being produced from the factory a few blocks down the way and it's making me pretty damn hungry.

Re: Coming of Age Depression

Hey, not all of us even make it part way in life. I am a high school dropout, though I did get my GED. I was working for a good few years in my late teens to early twenties and then was hit by a car which messed me up mentally for a couple of years. I've been on the low up until recently trying to p...

Re: Coming of Age Depression

Nothing at all wrong with rambling and there sure as hell is nothing wrong with games, I've been a gamer since the wee age of three. I have a bit of trouble going into lengthy ramblings for some reason.

Re: Coming of Age Depression

I completely understand the job application issue. I've had to deal with those quite a few times in the past few years. It's rather frustrating at times cause they aren't really questioning but more of a trick questionnaire. I've noticed how they have a tendency to ask the same question in three dif...

Re: What was the most difficult Sierra game ever?

After rereading this and seeing how I already answered, I have to add another game by the name of Alien Legacy. That game certainly proved to be difficult no how many time I've tried to play it.

What about when they released the FFVII demo trailer for the PS3? If they re-released it on PS3 looking like that, would you buy it then or wait for reviews?

Actually, I know what site you're talking about. I believe most older Sierra titles are still able to be bought online, so I dunno if that really makes the abandonware and/or free to download. I think if Vivendi themselves allowed the games to be downloaded free from their own site, that may be a di...

You guys always leave out the Conquest series. Conquest of the Longbow absolutely rocks!! Been a long time since I've played Conquest of Camelot, but that game was fun as well, though it uses the old text parser in that game. I have the 1st Simon game on one of my hard drives. Same with Blackie, I h...

Quest For Glory Fan wrote:Cannon. I just wanted to say it and join in on the overused phrase.
Just to clarify:

Canon (noun) - 1. A law or rule.

Cannon (noun) - 1. A mounted gun for firing heavy projectiles; a gun, howitzer, or mortar.

Where I'm going with this, I have absolutely no idea.

lol, not to sound mean or an ass or something, but a lot of members here know about that game. Not everyone, of course, but I am sure the majority do know about it. It is nice to see that AToTK is getting around.
