I want QfG 2 to be released right now.
If it wasn't, then I hope that it will be released right now.

If it still wasn't released, then...

Does thanking yourself boost your self esteem? Maybe I should try it myself.

Thanks JustLuke29!

Nope, I feel just as glum as usual.

May I add that this game seems absolutely wonderful. Breathtaking artwork, an evocative setting (which is strongly reminiscent of the cinematography in Roman Polanski's Fearless Vampire Killers) and quirky Lucasarts-style humour and characters. If I had my way, all games would be like this.

Me too. MMOs are usually pretty lacking in plot, story and characterisation; utterly unsuitable for a game that places so much emphasis on these qualities.

I've never been much of a fan of her work. Gabriel Knight seemed a bit pretentious. She did a pretty good job making King's Quest VI, though. I just hope that Gray Matter is something fresh and new.

Well, it seems extremely blurry - as if it was out of focus; too much smudge and blur, I think. Also, you need to pay attention to lighting and shadows. Good luck with it.

Those guys are remaking and enhance the first four games at the same time? Haha, they've even less chance of ever making their game than the Hero6 team.

I'm quite happy with the first four QfG games as they are. If I could change one thing today it would be to convert them to full real-time 3d with a rotatable camera (but leave the gameplay untouched).

As far as QfG V goes, I think it's a lost cause. I'd scrap it and start over.

It sucks. Bugs aside (because you should expect to find them in an early alpha), the writing is extremely poor; clunky, full of poor word/phrase choices and sprinkled here and there with little grammatical mistakes. Methinks they need to replace the writers. All in all, it is an amaturish demo with ...

KQ VI is my favourite, but to be honest I'm not a big fan of any of the KQ games. They always seemed poorly written, overly simplistic and, well, twee to me.

Give me a Quest for Glory game (particularly QfG2 or 3) any day.

Looking for feedback on some character concept art.

Here's two alternative concept sketches for the main character in an Arabian Nights style story. He claims to be a heroic Sinbad-like sea captain, but in reality he's just an opportunist thief and swindler; think Jack Sparrow crossed with Sinbad. So what I'd like to know is: If I hadn't written the ...

I'd like to apoligize if my comments were offensive to you developers. I guess I prefer blunt honesty to dressing up my comments with praise. I sincerely do wish you all the best with Al Emmo and, depending on the quality of the demo, I may well end up purchasing the game. I think that I have legiti...

Haha. Thanks, now ignore me and my dumb opinions. But before you do, in an effort to seem more constructive, here's some advice: Avoid using pre-rendered cutscenes in the future; if you can't advance the story either (preferably) through interactive gameplay or in-game cutscenes then, perhaps, you s...

I didn't say that the games that I was involved with in the past were good , Some were fantastic and other plain awful. I left the game industry about four years ago after becoming pretty disillusioned. Actually, I am saying that the way Al looks is one reason why I won't buy the game. My other reas...

Actually, I do know how difficult it is to develop a game - perhaps even more so than you. I worked for a very well known game developer for quite a few years in the past; so you've got a lot of stuff to buy! ;) As I said (perhaps poorly), I think that the character is visually unappealing, not nece...

it seems to me that it isn't the concept behind the character that is being criticised, but the execution . In other words, there is something unappealing (visually) about the main character and it's not because his appearance reflects his personality, rather, it's because he seems poorly designed. ...

The problem is that it is LucasArts who own the copyright to Loom rather than Brian Moriarty (I assume) and, as such, you should seek permission from them if you want to develop a sequel. And I am fairly certain that Lucasarts will not give that permission to you. Why don't you make a game in the sp...
