Re: Mage's Initiation: Reign of the Elements

I've got to say $15-$20 is a great deal; I'm planning on getting it as soon as I can afford it when it's released :)

Re: Do the Coles know about the iminent release of the remake?

Have the AGDs heard anything from the Coles specifically? I kinda am wondering what they thought of it, though that's very awesome that they posted about it on their site! And says a lot about the AGDs and just how impressive what they've done is...

Re: Package for Mac? (Via Cider emulation?)

Oooooh, that would be awesome! Now all we need to do is get one of the AGDs over here... Hmm, do you think we could catch them in a waterskin? ;)

Re: Package for Mac? (Via Cider emulation?)

I don't think AGDI would want you to repackage and redistribute it. That would be illegal.

Try optimizing the Cider wrapper for the game, and then just distributing the wrapper maybe, without the game? What do you think AGDs? I'm a mac user that would LOVE to not have to reboot into Windows...

This thread is very entertaining, and hopefully tomorrow I'll have my picture added to the collection! :D And also, Lady Pyro, and I mean this in the most non-creepy way possible, you're much more attractive than Angelina Jolie! Re: ** Quest for Glory II OFFICIAL RELEASE DATE ANNOUNCED **

lol, Well I think the point is, it's been a long time! Though, admittedly I kinda pulled the eight years thing out of some deep memory in my brain of someone saying eight years somewhere here.. But I'll just stick with the whole, it was supposed to be figurative, thing ;) On another note, I totally ...

Re: AGDI'S CAPABILITIES

heh, I wasn't even thinking similar as in interface, title, or character.. I was just thinking similar as in feeling and theme. Especially to Quest for Glory 4, or 5, those were incredible games, but 4 was buggy, and both were a little too rushed and seemed a little too incomplete... To the AGDs, yo...

Re: AGDI'S CAPABILITIES

I agree that a Quest for Glory-type game should be made by AGDI, but I disagree regarding its distribution. I don't see AGDI doing any more remakes after QFG2, and I don't think they should. They've given so much to the adventure genre and community, and it's time they deserve to get something back....

yeah I had that problem too. I got tired of that, so I went looking around to find out how to make QG4 work on DOSBOX. It involved alot of copying things from the cd and editing the qg4 configuration file to match dosbox's mounting. Yeah, I'm somehow able to play it in DOXBox without it recognizing...

Question about Al Emmo

Hey guys, first let me say how much I love and admire the work you've done on all your projects. I've played through KQ 1 & 2, and have also played through the demo of Al Emmo. I found your work shown in the demo to be fantastic, to say the least, and plan on buying the game hopefully this weeke...

You've been playing QG4 with VDMS?  I've been playing it as well, and for the most part it works fine. However, there are a couple of bugs, one of which is showstopping. At any combat scene, the moment my character attacks the other, the game freezes. Does it do the same for you? Also, I get some sl...

Just as a suggestion to cut down on these, maybe a mod can make a Sticky "QFG2: Is it done yet?" (or otherwise descriptive title) post describing just what AGD2 said, and why it's not good to keep asking this. That way, when people stop by and are thinking of asking this question, it's muc...

I also wanna extend some thanks to the AGDI team for everything you've done. You've prolly done more for the adventure genre than anyone else in years and years, and I'd have to say your games are of the highest quality I've ever seen in fan-made games. Thanks so much for bringing adventure gaming b...

I  was able to access adventure-eu at work yesterday, so it must be an ISP-specific problem, I'm not sure. I'll try to access one more time at home when I get there, but this is def. something that should be reported to adventure-eu, as ISP-wide problems are pretty urgent to get fixed heh...
