Re: ** COURSE 3 IN SESSION : AGDI REDESIGN/QFG2 LAUNCH thread **

That's a good call. If people like me are any indication, a heck of a lot of long time workers are going to be coming out of the woodwork for the next several weeks. At one point I thought maybe I was the only lurker, but I'm going to guess that I was wrong.

Re: ** COURSE 3 IN SESSION : AGDI REDESIGN/QFG2 LAUNCH thread **

Plus, an added benefit of waiting to distribute is getting a few of us poor, unfortunate souls who hadn't yet done so to buy Al Emmo. I'd probably buy a toilet brush, right now, if it were in some way connected to QFG2. Also a nice piece of real estate on the moon.

Re: Al Emmo Collector's Edition + QFG2 Poster?

I'd been meaning to buy Al Emmo for quite a while now. This poster finally gave me the impetus I needed.

Sweet website update btw. I am FREAKING pumped. :D :D :D :cry :D :D :D

Re: GFG4 and this game

I think that's one of those things that might sound funny in the abstract, but really wouldn't be remotely amusing in actual implementation. Those are the best kinds of funny, at least from a practical joke perspective.  I suppose, though, the question eventually becomes who are you trying to amuse?

GFG4 and this game

I just thought of a pretty funny method of releasing this game that has an awful lot to do with what we're all talking about right now. In a nutshell, you could get all the codes fixed, but in the mean time, release a game that loads and shows only one page.  The player takes a single step, then a g...

I'm reminded of the scene in Willow, when the good witch lady looks at herself, realizes how old she is, and says, "Has it been so long?" It doesn't seem that long ago since I first discovered the King's Quest II remake, but I think it has to have been at least 3 or 4 years.  Where has the...

Old times

I agree.  As a lurker, I miss the times before the Drama of Fribbi, the endless questions of "when is it coming out," and the dramatic slowdown of thought-provoking and hilarious comments.  Hopefully QFG2 will be the rebirth that this site is really needing. Mostly, I'll be happy when I ge...

Re: The QFG2VGA Manual

Erpy and NavyNuke are awesome too, but in different ways.  For example, neither is a beautiful babe.  But hey, we can't have everything! Whot. WHOT. They both so out-hot you. Wait.  I'm not sure if I"m following.  Erpy and NavyNuke out hot me? Well, I probably can't argue with that.  I'm doing...

The QFG2VGA Manual

So I was looking through old designer journals, when I came across some mention of a QFG2VGA manual.  Now, naturally this interested me, as the QFG manuals have always been one of my favorite parts of the game.  Who could forget the class mentions of politician or CPA?  And, of course, the very firs...

Y'know, it would be fun if there was an easter egg where someone in the QFG2 remake made a joke about Error 52.   I imagine it would have to be during one of the wizarding sections.  It wouldn't make sense anywhere else.  Though, I guess it wouldn't really make sense in the wizard section either, bu...
