Re: HOW TO: Play the Game in Linux

Whoa... where were you guys when I tried (and failed) to run the game with Wine on Ubuntu about a month ago?

Will try it tomorrow. Thanks in advance.

Re: Phew. FAQ's done.

I always enjoy CyricZ's walkthroughs and found them very useful. Didn't even know until today that CyricZ is a forum member here (oh wait, you just joined on August 31...). I hereby want to say many thanks for all your walkthroughs, CyricZ, and will definitely look forward to walkthrough for this Qf...

Re: The "Thanks" thread!

Many thanks and congratulations to AGDI to finally release this game. I have downloaded the game last night, but will have to wait until tonight after work to play it. Sadly it does not seem to run on Ubuntu Linux with Wine, so I will have to play it on Windows tonight. News submitted on Abandonia f...

Just a suggestion (sorry if this has been suggested or discussed before, too lazy to check), perhaps it is best to just complete a 1:1 remake at this point and release the game sooner. Additional quests not found in the original game, either for hybrid or for pure character, can be added as expansio...

Winamp did not help either (I already had Winamp before). Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought even Winamp actually uses default codecs from Windows Media Player? So, I always assumed if it does not work with Windows Media Player, it won't work with Winamp either. I tried playing the trailer at a ...

The trailer made my computer hang. I redownloaded once more, and still the same, the computer hanged again. Since it works for everybody else, the problem must be on my side here. Does it require special codecs I don't have? I'm using the default Windows Media Player 9.00.00.2980 for Win2K.

The game Catechumen mentioned by Brainiac is developed by N-Lightning Soft. Dev. Company, which is also the developer of the game Ominous Horizons I mentioned. I have not played Catechumen, nor have I seen it in the bargain bin in my local game stores, but I assume the gameplay is the same for both....

Ominous Horizons is not an adventure game, I guess. It is more like an action FPS. It's not free, though. I bought the game when it was quite cheap in the bargain bin. The game is Christian-themed, and contains several bible verses.

I don't mind duplicate items. That way even after I use one, I can still have the other in the inventory. I like to have full inventory with many nice things to look at (like in QfGV).

When my daughter was one year old, I gave her a small table and chair for her to sit down when eating/drawing/playing. When she was two (last December), I gave her a small bike.

Presents from friends/cousins/in-laws are mostly dolls and toys.

My fave is QfG5, because I really like it, not because I played it first, since I actually played it after playing QfG3. The order I played is QfG3, QfG5, QfG4, and finally QfG1. I haven't played QfG2, which is why I am looking forward to AGDI remake ;) My second fave is QfG1. I consider QfG3 tie in...

Paladin-Mage hybrid for me. Second choice will be Thief-Mage hybrid. For QfG1 I use Fighter-Mage hybrid. Basically, a combination of Mage and another class.

There is an Ultima V remake, except that it is not a stand-alone game/remake. Rather, it is a free mod for Dungeon Siege game. I tried to send the link to you through e-mail at seraphimdreamer@yahoo.com, but the e-mail bounced back. Here is the link: http://www.planetdungeonsiege.com/ultima5/tapestr...
