We're all really just theorizing but it does depend on how organized and clear the original coders were. If you can learn and use their method, continuing their work makes sense. Otherwise it's best to work from scratch and simply use their art/music/sounds (which will still save a TON of time).

It's hard to overstate how difficult it is to complete even just one project, though AGDI has several under their belts. Just the Quest for Glory II remake took years of dedication and thousands of hours of work.

I'd love to see this too, of course. I wonder if they'll spend money on licensing QfG or if they'll do something closely related, the way the Space Quest guys are trying to.
