Okay i have the HINT thats in town, but i still can not get the trap door to open, I pull the lever correctly and nothing happens. What am I missing?

its been what 3 or 4 months since the last update on the game. whats going on with it and whats the current status of it? or when you get time update the home page journal? thanks guys
