Re: "The Outer Edge of Earnon..."

NEW UPDATE: July 17th, 2012 Space Questers! I've decided to make this update a couple weeks early. I've got quite a few things to share with you, but first, I want to give you a good, STRONG reminder to go to guysfromandromeda.com, if you haven't done so, and PLEDGE a few buckazoids to help the Two...

Re: "The Outer Edge of Earnon..."

NEW UPDATE: May 3rd, 2012 Space Questers! How have things been in your quadrant? I doubt given the incredible events of late that you've been capable of being caught sleeping in a broomcloset somewhere (if you have been, you've missed out on a lot). You don't need me to tell you about the Two Guys' ...

Re: "The Outer Edge of Earnon..."

NOTE: I realize although I'd continued to make updates on the website this past year, I somehow drifted away from including them here and on other forums. I apologize if this has left anybody wondering, and hopefully it did not keep many of you from thinking to visit the site itself the see the upd...

Re: "The Outer Edge of Earnon..."

Thank you, Brandon. And... I almost forgot to mention this bit of news here, but I posted it on the JT almost a couple weeks ago: ...I've set up a website at the following url. The message board isn't really all that finished yet, in terms of looks and categories, but you can feel free to join so th...

Re: "The Outer Edge of Earnon..."

No way, I'd thought you did that on purpose. Lol. Here we are now, 2.5 weeks early for the update. How about that? http://img580.imageshack.us/img580/16/introhallrogerpeering00.gif P.S. For some odd reason, the file hoster keeps overwriting my newest version with a crappy looking one which was from ...

ebay offering brand new durable AT style cases, 9 bucks.

Hello all. Hoping this is the right place for this. I'm posting this in regards to Frans' article on making an SQ pc, but can also refer to building any dos pc for vintage gaming. There is a seller on ebay who is selling several AT style cases, very durable, original, and brand new. Half he is selli...

Re: "The Outer Edge of Earnon..."

I only wish I could show you some of the earliest attempts I'd made, when I was only 18 years old. I have to say, it wasn't until I was at least 21 that I finally began to get a feel for the medium (of course, if I'd not dilly-dallied and felt so discouraged by it, I probably would've mastered it so...

Re: "The Outer Edge of Earnon..."

Previously Posted: It's not finished. As you can see, I didn't even quite finish the four buildings. The last one I was working on was the upper right corner (white/blue one). So, I never got to finish the street, sidewalks, supercomputer background area, as well as various touch up details. When I ...

Hah! Yeah, I had to bribe Vohaul with the script rights to this SQ12 parallel episode I've been working on. :p Actually, many of the names I'd mentioned there, I didn't mean to give the impression they would be secondary/important characters. They were bodies I discovered in SQ1VGA, so they fill thi...

Sorry for the double post, as my last one was made 3 months ago. I figure it's fair to stop in and keep any interested fans informed, as I never intend to go longer than 3 months without posting a new update. A lot has happened since the last one. :) We were going full speed, but we hit a rough spot...

Actually, I hadn't noticed some of the more "crude" parts until viewing "part II" a second time. Having stated my distaste for it, and suggested that the author should steer away from "that" sort of outlet to humor, I found the rest of it quite amusing. My favorite part...

I especially think you've done a great job depicting the rocks below the water when entering the ocean. Gives the whole scene more life/realisticness. Keep up the good quality. I can't wait to play this game. And as a matter of fact, I never did get very far in Kq2 before moving onto other games. I'...

Are you trying to blend a mix of SQ3 and SQ6's styles?  I've only played a little of SQ6 and I seem to remember it has a more cartoony style than SQ3.  If that's an example of a finished shot then I'd say it looks more SQ3 than SQ6. Color style wise, I'm shooting for SQ3, while detail and animation...

It looks incredible.  Sincere best of wishes to the project. Thank you for your encouragement. Rather impressive.  I almost mistook it as a screenshot from SQ3.  Hopefully that shows you how well you mimicked the style.  Good luck with this. Well, I'm rather glad to hear that, since sq3/sq6 is prec...
