Knocking Ad Avis off the tower, at least the wizard way, is another room that will crash the game if the music volume is not in the 1-255 range.

So ok, yeah, did the reverse thing (500/500 with not all stats or spells maxed, but with the blue frog in inventory) and successfully unlocked the blue frog mode.

Nah, they are score points. I forgot to get the fire elemental reward from Rakeesh (too busy grinding spells in the desert, probably) for three points, and dunno what I missed for the last 5.

Gah. I just finished the game with 200 in every stat and every skill, with the blue frog in my inventory, and did *not* unlock debug mode. I assume this is because my final score was 542 / 550.

I could do that but I as far as I know its not possible to start as a fighter with all of the stats. It is, if you play through QFG1. In QFG1 add Stealth, Pick Locks, and Magic (or pick your favorite combinations). Beat QFG1. When importing into QFG2 you get given more points. So then add Climbing....

When I unlocked blue frog, I was playing a thief with every skill. I did max every spell as well as every skill (including honor, yes).

To activate blue frog mode... I haven't had time to figure this out but supposedly it involves having the frog in your inventory when you win the game, winning with stats maxed and having earned all points. There may be more to it or maybe some of this isn't required, I'm not sure. I activated blue...

Well, any spell that can be cast repeatedly by holding down enter will be maxed, that's for sure.

I get Strenght 400 when I import my Wages of War or my Shadows of Darkness savegame into QfG 4. But I don't think it's possible to build the strength of your hero to 400 in Wages of War . I'm getting very bored with spell grinding (not to mention luck and stealth, the two stats that just refuse to raise) in QFG4; anybody got an editor or a list of hex locations (and it's not as simple as searching for 400 dec / 190 hex)?

QFG3 was always the first game in the series that broke the neutrality of classes. That is, the hero could still be hybrid but certain main plot elements were only available to certain classes. QFG2 had at least one class-specific plot point originally: only a fighter can join the Eternal Order of ...

I'm replaying QFG3 now, and having trouble raising spells. I've cast open, detect magic, and zap a lot of times (savanna), and they haven't raised a single point in the same amount of castings that pushed trigger to like 220...has anyone else seen this problem?

Is it the normal 300 max, or is there something special for paladin points?

I am not even sure how to tell what day I am on! :( Read the manual or hit CTRL-T. The mouse option is to the left of the spell menu (it pops up a submenu with an hourglass, which is what you want). Is that what happens? The game sort of goes on "hold" until I have figured everything out ...

Got that blue frog now but I really don't believe there is any "blue frog mode". There is a debug mode, accessed by F10 in a game that has it activated. I also hear a frog croak on startup now. I don't know what exactly I did to unlock it, though...it wasn't just beating the game with the...
