I met some South-African guys, and some of them spoke Dutch. I can understand it, but the languages have developped quite different. In the 17th century both countries spoke Dutch, but later both languages changed.  I think South-African sounds funny

You should defenitely check out Baldurs Gate, especially part II. It's one of the best games ever made. Lots of action, rpg-elements, (semi)non-lineair gameplay, humor and an enormous replay value. But different then QFG of course.

Maybe a Ranger would be nice. With some stealth, some attack power and some magic. Extra ability could be tracking. Or a Ranger subclass: a Beastmaster. Like the Ranger, but with a little charm over some animals, who could turn into allies, instead of the tracking ability.

I liked the settings alot, along with the genre (adventure/rpg combo) and the dialogues and humour throughout the series. Also the easter-eggs like the dinosaur in qfg1, and laurel & hardy and the aardvark in qfg3 were very funny.
