Nawar.
I think multiple intros would be a good idea... it worked for Wizardry Gold, at least. It would be even better if it could find the relevant facts in your character file, but I'd imagine they weren't exported.

I'm not sure exactly why, but I love the idea of QfG101: So You Used To Be A Hero. It's kind of thought provoking, irreverent, and yet fitting, all at the same time. He has achieved everything, become a Hero, a King, and everything else he wanted to be... and like just about everyone else who has ac...

I heard almost a month back that it was 99% complete
Better check again, I'm pretty sure it was 6.6% done.

Adventure Games on the Wii?

I just ran across this article on Gamasutra.com (a major game design site) about the idea of adventure games making a comeback through the Wii: http://www.gamasutra.com/features/20070205/nixon_01.shtml I know, we've been hearing something or other about adventure games making a comeback on a given p...

Plus, Vista's still going to suck, whereas QfG2VGA isn't.

You have to have widescreen support.
People have been flipping out at DICE for not putting widescreen support on the game I was working on. Come on, AGDI's better than that =P

Of course, if they did make QfG6 (regardless story or gameplay was involved), we'd finish it and beg for QfG7. Wasn't QfG5 done as a result of fan demand? I seem to remember I had a little note from the Coles on my CD to that effect, along with the all-too-prophetic warning "Don't finish it too...

I may as well stop trying to actually work out where we're going and just jump on the bandwagon with QfG6 ideas. Way back when QfG5 first came out, my brother and I came up with an idea whereby Spielberg gets invaded by the Frost Giants (which initially seems to make no sense because they've always ...

If we're talking old school 320x200 (isn't it? Thereabouts anyway) resolution, I think current phones are fairly close. I don't know about power, but I'm fairly sure some adjustments could be made so as to play with the keypad. My mouse has been busted for some time and I don't have the cash to fix ...

I know everyone desperately wants another QfG game, but what would it actually mean for it to be another QfG game? Most of this discussion assumes that what made QfG so awesome was the story/world/characters, and that's kind of what I thought too, but the general consensus when I explicitly posed th...

I'm not talking about human nature, but the nature of a man... your nature. I've thought about this for a while and asked around a bit, and I keep coming back to Blackthorne's solution, if even that (Who knows what death brings?) Most people have an immediate answer, experience, love, will power... ...

Interesting... the main reason for most of you seems to be variability in the gameplay, although I guess QfGFan is talking more about the world. And the cinnamon. For me it was mostly the characters/humour and world/background, with a bit of the gameplay in terms of maxing out characters and whatnot...

What makes Quest For Glory so great?

Wow, I really haven't posted here in a long time. I thought I remembered this board having a poll feature, and both usernames have been deactivated (the one I used to harass the AGDs about delays, and the one I used to harass that one for harassing the AGDs). Getting to the point: What makes Quest f...
