Re: What Coin??
If you pop onto a screen inhabited by a Sharkee sentry, you have a couple of seconds to leave before you get chomped. As for the front gate, since it's so well guarded, perhaps there is another way into the castle...

~Wolfgang

Re: well...........................................
Chris: Stat maxing is an RPG addict's thing. It's not necessary to beat the game, to be sure, but some people (like myself) enjoy getting the most out of the gaming experience and stat maxing is a way to do that.

And an hour for stat maxing isn't really that bad if you consider some of the ot...

Re: re:states
I actually liked the Djinn's ring idea even better than a simple stat allocation at the beginning. It allowed you to finish QFG2 (and thus begin QFG3) with two stats at 250 if you choose to do so. I usually played a Magic User and I maxed out Intelligence and Magic before ever leaving Shapeir, so wh...

Re: points
The reason there are no bonus points given at the beginning of QFG2 and there is in the others is because QFG2 had the Djinn's ring at the end. You can use it to wish for 50 points of any stat you want. The other games gave you the bonus points in the beginning, whereas QFG2 gave them at the end. Th...

Re: Hmmm...
That's looks cool, navynuke! I agree with adeyke about synchronising character movement and frame animation. I like the walking speed with him in your version, though; the original version's walking speed was a bit too slow IMO. Perhaps you could try putting on anti-glide mode and increasing the fra...

There is more that one poem. The directions to the castle are different depending on which poem you were given. In order for us to give you directions, you would need to post the poem.

~Wolfgang

Re: sharks???? :O
Hagatha's cave is a timed event, I believe. If you either walk in her line-of-sight or if you stay in her cave too long, she'll spot you. Unfortunately, if you've saved it just before you get caught, you may be stuck. Hopefully you have more than one save game and one of them is just before you ente...
