Re: nithingale is singing
You should have a large sheet of cloth in your inventory. Try clicking it on the cage.

Re: "Timing Is Everything"
Well, all the other deaths seem to be working okay. Eating the mushroom too early always gives me the "cap on water" picture.

"Timing Is Everything"
Correct me if I'm wrong, but...isn't this the wrong death picture? I didn't drown, I wasted the mushroom.

Re: Fighting the Guards (Spoilers)
Ah. That's too bad. I DID manage to fight them as a pure thief though. Throw a dagger at one of them and the other tells you to come out and fight, so you only have to take down two guards.
I'll have to check and see if the Silver Dagger odes anything if you click it on them...

Fighting the Guards (Spoilers)
Is there any way to fight the guards outside Raseir's palace as a pure Wizard? I can fight them as a thief by throwing a dagger at one of them, but I haven't been able to fight them as a Wizard without using Battle Mode. I know it's not the "correct" path, but I always liked that battle an...

Have you tried running the game in Doxbox?
You could also try using these timer patches. I never tried them myself, but they should be able to help.

A few more missing deaths...
When dying of thirst, it always gives the message You collapse under the hot desert sun, and perish from dehydration. The desert is no place to be without water. There were two alternate messages for dying of thirst in the original. One for dying in the desert at night time: You collapse under the p...

I think the closest they could reasonably get is adding fights with the other game's monsters to that Battle Debug menu thing...

Re: "There's no reason to duck at the moment."
Alrighty then. Speaking of missing deaths, I couldn't get the death where you break the glass in Khaveen's house. I think there's another missing message, but I'll have to check later. Heck, I wonder if I should just yank all the death text out of the original game, try to get the messages to appear...

Re: "There's no reason to duck at the moment."
Ah, that makes sense. I don't think I've ever tried ducking the Lightning Balls, since I usually have Reversal at this point.
Is it possible to fit that death back into the remake? I hate to be a nag, but I'm kind of a death enthusiast, and I'd hate to see any death go to waste.

No reason to duck, huh?
How's THIS for a reason, huh?
Sorry for not pointing this out BEFORE the update...but I wanted to check if the same thing happens as a fighter.

Re: *SUPER SPOILER* The biggest easter egg in the game.
I just now defeated that dastardly deep-dish dude on my second playthrough. (Fighter) Maybe it's just me, but I tried counting the number of times I hit him, and it helped me focus. I don't think there's much to say that hasn't already been said, so I'll just say COWABUNGA! :P Maybe I'll make myself...

Re: Wizard Game- Force Bolt Flurry >(
Don't worry too much about it. Anything you can get from winning the game is basically a bonus, and not needed to finish the game.
Anyway, I was pretty horrible at the game myself, so I'll let someone else give actual advice.

Juuust finished it...
I started yesterday morning, and finished just now...better late than never, I guess. :p I remember waaaay back, I had played through QFG1 so I could have a character ready to import when the remake came out. I ended up playing through the rest of the series with that character, and left the files t...
