Yes, some countries in South America have piracy, but few games make it into South Africa, but look at Portugal and Spain, in the EU, they have the lower salaries.

It's sort of poetic justice, because the countries with the wider range of piracy are usually the countries with the lowests salaries (ej. China, Portugal, Spain...)

Never played Arcanum myself. Explain it to me. I am too lazy to look it up Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura is set on a high fantasy world where there has been a recent industrial revolution. Magic and technology can't coexist, and the world is divided between mages and technologists, the ...

Because in my experience all the fun comes from the high level content.  I've played WoW, I played it up to level 24 or so.  The level grind was basically the same thing.  Go to person, get quest, complete quest, turn in reward, repeat ad naseum.  WoW had pretty much a couple of different types of ...

Are the alleys different in the remake? The layout is the same, but there are landmarks throughout the screens which makes navigation a lot easier (the skyline for example). The alleys no longer resemble a closed maze like the SCI game, they more closely resemble narrow streets with open sky above ...

Whose fault is it you can't play it. I saved up for a PS3 since it was announced at E3 2005. Sure I understand what you saying, but what you really mean is that you'll never know how good (or bad) it is, yet being on PS3 technically doesnt make it a bad game. If the game itself is crap then that ma...

Interesting... the concept art for the character sheet in Hero Quest Story shows stats never implemented: Charisma, Reading (?), Visualization (?), and Disarm Traps (Seems like some kind of Thief Mage, looking at the points)

Depends, if it is a travelling hero, then yes, he/she should wear a cape, but a hero that only acts on a specific area shouldn't need it.

I must admit that, if it weren't for QFG 4 1/2, I wouldn't have known the Quest for Glory series at all. I just got the fifth original games, and now that I've finished them all (Only as a Magic User Paladin, though) I have to say that my favourites are a tie between QFG1 and QFG4.
