School for Heroes open for registration
Hi everyone, Lori and Corey's new School for Heroes site (http://www.theschoolforheroes.com/) is now officially open for registration. You can take the "entrance exam" to see what kind of hero you are, and you can create your user account. As many of you know, the Coles have been blogging ...

Re: The QFG2 VGA Main Page
P.S. Does anybody know who my avatar is? The Black Knight from Conquests of Camelot, no? The designer of the two Conquests games, Christie Marx, has continued to write scripts for games and other media. Her website's sitemap gives an idea of some of the other work she's done: http://www.christymarx...

I take it you'll be interviewing them again after the QfG2VGA release? :) From what I understand there will be a number of things (small things) included which they originally intended. Would be interesting to hear their 'ex-director's play-by-play'. :P We haven't made any plans for another intervi...

But is it not the case that AGD use vga with 32-bit colour, as opposed to the sierra method of Vga 256 colours. Considering that QFG5 is, I believe 16-bit colour, technically there are actualy more colours availiable for the AGD version of Qfg2, giving it plenty of scope for consistancy while still...

Thanks Joseph. Good read. :) Thanks for checking it out, Gronagor! :) Not really anything new, but still interesting to read. Well, in terms of the questions I chose, the interview was mostly intended to yield fresh perspectives on game development, rather than news announcements per se. However,...

Future Work by the Coles
I'm still holding out for a QFG6, from anyone who produces quality work Although it is not a QFG6, the Coles are working on a text adventure, called Famous Adventurer's School for Heroes, which is of course set in Glorianna. More information will be forthcoming on the Coles' (Transolar Entertainmen...

Quest for Glory V - Heroes Add-On
I've downloaded Jamy's add-on and in the brief testing I've done so far it seems to work as announced. The download consists of an .exe that boots QFGV in different modes depending on which hero (Prince of Shapeir, Elsa, or Magnum) you want to play. QFGV must be installed in the default directory (...
