Re: Paladin points vs. honor points
Indeed. The thief doesn't leave the Blue Parrot with the plan to go and give Khaveen some mild payback (since you didn't know your target was his house), the thief left with the intention of stealing a statue from A house, regardless of the owner. So it's not exactly honorable, even though Khaveen ...

Re: Importing characters from Quest for Glory 1 VGA?
this is probably a stupid question--but, is there any way to get the chainmail armor in-game?
I imported my hero as a fighter (albeit him originally being a magic-user/thief hybrid in QfG1ega), and he started with the leather armor in QfG2vga

Re: The "Thanks" thread!
Man, this game is really really great.. A good remake fully encapsulates what made the original work, but it should also expand and improve upon the original--QfG2vga does both and looks beautiful doing it.. This isn't just a welcome addition to the franchise, I believe it is the "definitive&q...

Re: Hidden Passage / Shapier Alley (Glitch?)
okay, i just tried EVERY alley in the game and couldn't find it.. it's aggravating though, because i remember it so vividly.. and i almost feel like the game actually acknowledged the "glitch" in some way (making it more of an easter egg than a glitch).. oh well.. fyi, here's an artistic r...

Hidden Passage / Shapier Alley (Glitch?)
I vaguely remember there being one alley in Shapier that appeared to be a deadend--but you were actually able to walk through the walls at the very end of it (to the side). Your character would disappear behind the walls and there appeared to be a room back there. I can't remember if this was part o...

Re: I have to say it – misconceptions about torrent.
Bottom line: Other than Vivendi being dicks, there isn't any reason not to have both direct downloads and a torrent setup as download options. I'd probably seed this thing for the next year once a torrent does go up (which eventually we will see, make no mistake). this has been said over and over (...

Re: How much would you pay for a Sierra Adventure Game Nowadays?
All pirates and freeloaders, regardless of their motivation, are the very types of people who collectively sap away at motivation until there's none left. I've pirated extensively from a certain monopolistic game publisher, and I don't think many people would consider me a freeloader for doing so. ...

Re: How much would you pay for a Sierra Adventure Game Nowadays?
i'm still waitin for someone to make a truly great adventure game for the Wii.. Zack and Wiki was really good--but it was more in the puzzle genre
and, yes, i'd be happy to pay full price for it
