Have you tried running it in a window instead of fullscreen? That fixed the display problems I had.

EDIT: No doubt it makes a difference if you're a fighter... I literally doubled my effectiveness against scorpions with the sword. Either it's been too long since I played QFG2... or it's been too long since I've played QFG2!

Is there any advantage? It weighs the same, and it didn't seem to increase any of my stats.
