Re: Cheat Mode

As Erpy said, those are unsupported debug features, and must be used with caution as they can perfectly break the game (and close it without warning). They are only unlocked if certain conditions (that I don't know) are met after beating the game at least once, so you will have to endure a playthro...

Re: Possible QG2VGA Export Bug / QG3 Import Bug

When I imported my QG2VGA non-magic using Paladin into QG3, the introduction I got was that for the Magic User instead of that for the Fighter. Everything appeared to be normal after that, so I ignored it. However, later on while playing QG3 I noticed that my magic skill had increased from 0 to 5. ...

After clicking on a portrait, click on one of the difficulty levels that appear to the left of the hero. Then click normal, slow or saurus (if applicable) and off you go. http://www.agdinteractive.com/forum/images/avatars/moodpics/Nashmean.jpg Thanks! I knew it must be something stupid like that - ...

finally battle mode . . . but . . . help!?! *spolier*

I really debated whether or not to ask for help or not, given the nature of this forum, but I am sort of having an issue and am hoping somebody might be able to help. I did a whole play-though to unlock some of the goodies we have all been talking about. Today, I got battle mode working - hoping to ...

Re: Two questions regarding debug and battle modes

Naturally, there's no instructions for how to avoid crashes in debug mode, since it's no officially supported feature. If you enter the wrong item number, the game crashes, ditto if you try to warp to a room that doesn't exist or if you mess with some of the global ints. http://www.agdinteractive.c...

Two questions regarding debug and battle modes

Ok - I finally made it through with my hybrid character with 200 in every skill! He has defeated everybody except the PE (I was never good at those Nintendo type bosses). I have two questions: 1) Is there a key for what does what in debug mode - how do i add an item without crashing the game (is it ...

Re: What can be done with the Blue Frog inventory item?

I didn't know battle mode and bluefrog mode was separate . . . I've never unlocked battle mode, though, so that must be something else, probably getting all enemies into the Warrior's Diary. Nah - it takes more than that - I've beat everybody (brigands, scorpions, terrorsaurus, jackelmen, ghoul, Wal...

Re: *SUPER SPOILER* The biggest easter egg in the game.

I actually thought up the turtle lair for two reasons: 1) because people kept asking me how to find the pizza elemental and i wanted you to find it yourself. 2) to entertain the makers of the game and myself ;) in fact, one admin (who will remain nameless) told me: "BTW, do you realize what ki...

Re: *SUPER SPOILER* The biggest easter egg in the game.

Heh, you know...the original poster posted screenshots that showed a location in the middle of the desert. No mountains in the background, so it eliminates 4 out of 8 rows of the desert grid. No rocks or plants visible, so obviously the area was far to the west or east of Shapeir. Not exactly unimp...

5. Sell the spare key of the Katta Inn to Dinarzad That was my plan too - but at the end, I just didn't have the heart. Well, it wasn't so much that, but i already had 800 dinars (after buying all the cool stuff for my room) and figured why zap my honor down to zero for the rest of the series for 3...

Re: Did the remake maintain the neutrality of classes?

QFG3 was always the first game in the series that broke the neutrality of classes. That is, the hero could still be hybrid but certain main plot elements were only available to certain classes. Does the remake of QFG2 ever look directly at your class to decide if you can do something? Or is it 100%...

Re: What happens to the storage chest when you leave to Rasier?

Actually - i am sorry - I did not remember that correctly. I was trying to drop a lot of different things, so i went pack to day 16 and replayed it.

This situation happens if you drop the Katta's sapphire pin (which it does let you drop). However, Shameen keeps sending you back to the chest.

Re: What happens to the storage chest when you leave to Rasier?

The game forces you to take all of your important items out of the storage chest again before the game will let you join the caravan. And that also adds a little bit of a problem if you don't have an "important" item anymore. shameen will tell you to check your chest, and you're stuck. (k...

if you want my guess (I haven't done it and don't really want to put the time into it) - its probably finishing the game with all maxed stats (maybe with the frog). It makes sense that a player that beat the game with all stats maxed "earns" the cheat-mode. I've played through the game thr...

You need to know how to climb (and, unless you add that skill in the beginning of the game to your mage or fighter, only thieves know how to climb). Don't worry - if you're a mage or fighter, you don't need it. And it saves you a good chuck of change not buying it.

Instead of looking at it solely from the backstab angle, consider it from the point of view of the Fighter without stealth and the Thief who's running away from a charging foe. In these instances, it's impossible to peg an enemy with a dagger unless you go into the menu, turn the speed alllllllllll...

The thing I would really like would be a higher number of save game slots . . . my initial plan was to save at least once a day for each play though.
