Rickrolled!
:rollin That about sums it up. I've been playing this since the release, ran through various characters perhaps a dozen times each, and this time, I got rickrolled! The evening of day 3 when you sit down to listen to Omar, instead this time I got the scene with Rick Astley dancing and singing instea...

Re: QFG2 Harik Attar Burn powder glitch (thief)
With the powder of burning for the Earth Elemental, Harik takes a little convincing before he gives it to you. Just keep telling him about the Elemental.

Re: Ghoul head?
I can confirm that you can get the ghoul head after you know about the claws. It all depends on how the ghoul 'dies', as there are two ways. If he shatters into pieces, you can't get the head, but you can get the claws. If his body falls in one piece, his head will fall beside him, then you can pick...

Yep, there's a cap on how many Harik will take. The original had one too.

Re: Raseir palace drama
If the issue is everything is moving too fast, I strongly suggest slowing the game down. I used to have the same problem in the original. Once you get to that point, everything is time based and if the game is running to fast Iblis will be let loose before you can finish what you have to do.

Your lock picking skill has to be pretty high in order to crack it.

Re: Good places to practice various skills...
Even with thieves and magic users, I still venture out into the desert to raise strength and combat skills, because even the magic user and thief have a need sometimes for a large carrying capacity. I head out in the evening, armed with a stockpile of healing pills and vigor pills, and just kick but...

Does the silver dagger provide an advantage? If so, I'll likely keep it next time. Darn my greediness.

Re: Good places to practice various skills...
One thing I've noticed is that the remake allows you to rest outside of the Inn, which allows you to practice lock picking a lot. I got mine up to 200 in three days easy by just picking doors (and my nose!) a lot. All of which is in preparation for that third job. I like that it gives you a reason t...

Re: New Easter Eggs
I'd often spot King Arthur in the EGA version even with full water skins. He'd be laid out like he would be in Conquests of Camelot as if you'd spent too much time in the desert.

Re: New Easter Eggs
I spotted King Graham lying dead in the desert instead of King Arthur like the EGA version had, with the white hair he had in KQ5. A nice nod to another tricky desert to navigate.

Re: Purpose of the Ghoul Head?
I ran into a Terrorsaurus, and I have to say, they are much nastier this time around. They can rip you to pieces fast if you don't dodge their attacks. I find it refreshing, it makes it that much more satisfying to finally slay the sucker.

It's quite possible. Sometimes I tend to click through things fast and I may have clicked past the message without noticing it.

Re: Got the Griffin's Feather on Day 1: Can No Longer Use Map!
For me it wasn't a matter of being able to look at items, it was using them. Every time I clicked the map or a pill bottle on my hero, I got the message saying 'You don't have time to examine the item.' After I levitated again, the problem went away and I didn't encounter it again. The griffin scene...

Re: Got the Griffin's Feather on Day 1: Can No Longer Use Map!
In my case, it was the gentle way. I levitated up, clicked on the nest to get the feather, then landed myself without waking up the griffin.

Re: Got the Griffin's Feather on Day 1: Can No Longer Use Map!
I had this issue using levitate to get the feather, then I couldn't use the map, or any pills, because it said 'you do not have time to examine the item.' However, by just finding a spot to cast levitate again, hit up and then down to land, I was able to start using things again.
