The music is quite good, but sometimes I need to do other things with my ears while playing and the music's too much of a distraction.Schloss Ritter wrote:Why would anyone want to turn the wonderful music all the way off anyway?

Re: Bug/Game Crash
I got this one while moving to sit down in Aziza's:
Room 80 script (line 1164)
Error: PlayAmbientSound: volume must be 1 to 255
(Something tells me mine might be 0 since I have the sound shut off? I dunno.)
Edit: This one happens every time, by the way, if you have the music shut off.

Re: Training Help
For those of us on Mac laptops: Remember that fn and fn+shift plus an arrow key are how you do PgDn, etc. Some poking at those to figure out what's what and you should be able to finish the tutorial, and either remap the keys, or continue with them the way they are!

Okay. I found a work-around for Parallels. That turning off Vmouse was a work-around gave me the idea. If you're using Parallels: In Windows, double click on the Parallels icon in your system tray and go to "Mouse Synchronization." Shut mouse synchronization off and everything will be fine...

Re: Mac compatibility
Are you having any issues with the action submenu (run/walk/sneak/char/time/etc)? I am also running it on XP Pro via VMWF, and I cannot get it to work for me. It just blinks off as soon as I move the mouse. Basically prevents me from working a thief. :( This problem appears to exist in Parallels as...

Re: Pure Keyboard Controls?
It would be an enormous effort to add in a text command parser, and it's something only a very small minority of players would actually use. So no, it's not going to be implemented. Kinda what I figured. Text parsing doesn't seem like it'd be easy, especially after all that work was done making a n...

Pure Keyboard Controls?
Before I ask for the pony I want for my birthday: I've been enjoying the remake all day! I still play through the original once or twice a year (since it takes so little time once you know what to do), and love the game, warts and all, to bits. In fact, I've played it so many times that, even though...
