Re: New AGDI site goes live & King's Quest I Re-released!

Alrighty, thanks alot for the reply. I was wondering before I installed if it would work, the only reason I thought it might was because the readme said Windows ME and 2000 were supported, but I figured it might still be outdated. Ah well, I guess it's time to install Vista. :) Thanks again for all ...

Re: New AGDI site goes live & King's Quest I Re-released!

Hey, this looks great. I remember hearing you guys say you would do some "minor touch up", and I didn't expect anything nearly this big. I do have a problem though. I use a Windows ME to play my adventure games on (since it can handle them and then I don't have to borrow my friend's comput...

Re: Please make easy combat patch !!!

I had my diffuculty set on top from 100 strength and weapon use onward and I had no problem, in fact at some points I was disappointed with how easy it was to beat great heroes like Rakeesh or the Griffin when I maxed out my stats. I did all of it on Fighter though, and I just started playing as a T...

Re: LateBlt's Let's Play QfG on Youtube

I completely understand people who prefer the old-school parser, and it definately seems more adventure-like and more flexible in some ways. LateBlt wasn't that hard on it, but you could definately see his bias against it (imo if the worst thing you can complain about the game has to be alright).

Re: dying and the saurus

I didn't know you had to buy the Saurus right away so I entered the screen and I died because it was the guy's last offer and I had only like 10 dinars. I had to go to my only other save and kill guys all night to get enough money for it (and my combat was so low the ghoul was a pain). So yes, I did...

Re: The Ultimate Clash

For adventure games, Sierra hands down no contest for me. For flight sims, LucasArts is king. ;)

Re: TEXT PARSER VS. ICONS GUI

I like text better overall, it just adds a little more to the game and you can have fun trying to figure out everything you can say and do, including little easter eggs or typing funny stuff. I have nothing against point and click either, and I especially like Sierra's style (I don't like the interf...

Re: Post here for QFG2 Hints

Hi, I'm knew to Quest for Glory and I've enjoyed the game so far but I have a little probelm I can't solve. I'm trying to talk to Aziza for the first time and I get into her house and sit down fine, but then she offers me tea and I can't figure out how to say yes. I clicked to talk to her and typed ...
