If you're a Fighter, get the Saurus boots ASAP and don't let up in your attack. That way he can't spam the Acid counter attack (I swear, I must have jabbed the bastards dozens of times, but if he starts the Acid Spit animation, you can't stop it).

At one point I was wandering around town, when I clicked the Map onto a guard by the fountain that was blocking my character. He said that he recognized the item and that it belonged to him and I got busted for stealing. Is that supposed to happen?
