I'm lovin' the 2.0 version, all of the little pet peeve bugs that I found on my first playthrough are gone, so in my eyes this game is now perfect

Re: Mage's Initiation: Reign of the Elements
Even if you get your game on steam, I'd prefer the physical version. I only use to steam to buy games I don't own the console for, such as Portal.

Wow, the few screenshots you've released look fantastic, the level of detail is amazing. I personally love the giant crab and ocean ones. I guess I already know what my element is going to be

Re: Future Remake: Part Deux
If we're going by desirability and not by how practical, then I'd have to go with Quest for Glory III (great game, it just needed to be polished up a bit) and a Quest for Glory V "de-make" (To this day I havn't owned a computer that could run it, plus it looks ugly |I ) Then for number thr...

Random Quest for Glory musings go here
Salt's opinions on various saurii: Saurus: very popular brand, mostly due to the great color variety, red for those wanting to impress, green for those wanting an enviromentally friendly saurus, and the ladies love the purple . Very good for differant terrains, from the forests of Spielburg to the G...

Re: The name "Wages of War"
I always found a question for a subtitle out of the ordinary.
*person picks up game*
So you want to be a hero?
"No not really."
*leaves store*
Anyways, has anyone else ever seen a question for a subtitle?

Re: General Quest for Glory discussions
Yeah, I guess "perfect" was the wrong word to use, anyways thanks for the point lists (and all in one place, nice! >D ) I just gave myself the challenge of playing as each class (including Paladin when available) of every game (at least 1-4) with as many points as possible, then I'll find ...

I think Katrina was simply paranoid, can you imagine knowing that practically everyone wants to kill vampires, and you are one, and for 12 hours a day you're completely helpless? Try putting yourself in her shoes as you lie in bed at night, quite terrifying isn't it? Like as already been said, she d...

Re: QFG II 1.3 ?????
You might as well wait to overhaul everything into a new version of AGS until whatever will replace Vista replaces it, or whatever replaces the replacer as well, and get it to work for that, the hard work would be FAR more worth it!

Re: Quest for Glory V de-make?
I think they should just make QFGV more available and better running on newer computers, because so many people I have "seen" on the internet are like "Yeah big QFG fan, played 1-4, heard Dragon Fire ends the series well, never played it though" I am currently in pursuit of this ...

"look I'm using someone else's concept only it's a girl", you'll have to forgive me if I'm simply not impressed. If you don't mind me saying, I have NO problem with "stealing" ideas and concepts from Quest for Glory, because QFG fans want (gasp!) a game that looks, plays, and fe...

Re: Starting another QfG fangame, better late then never
The thing about having a low resolution is that I think it would make animation a lot more easier, less pixels to keep track of so to speak. Plus with a QFG fangame you can get away with it because it's "with the style"
Just my two cents, take it or leave it

Re: Starting another QfG fangame, better late then never
I still haven't decided on where the best place to have a pirate game would be. A larger world map would be a must though. I'm toying around with seeing more of the Med Sea and possibly revisiting a little bit of Silmaria, although I need to do more research on the area first. How about the Azure S...

Re: Starting another QfG fangame, better late then never
Love the Diamond idea (does this mean we'll be seeing a future game in India >D ) and it is better to come up with your own material then just relying on the past for the laughs (hey I'm a poet and I didn't even know it) The grail would work in a Middle Eastern setting (but we already had QFGII) I'm...

Re: Starting another QfG fangame, better late then never
I can see how it would be a lot simpler to just type in the hero's name, and as for your chosen class decides who the hero married is a great idea, because you have to make the gameplay a bit differant for each class anyways. And as for dialogue problems, you could simply have her refered to as &quo...

Re: Starting another QfG fangame, better late then never
What I think would be neat if you could "import" your Quest for glory V save file, so that when you rescue "yourself" he's actually called "John" or "Ralph" or whatever you named him, and the bride is actually the one you chose to marry in Dragon Fire, but the...

A 5th Class?
Okay, in QFG we've had the three classes, Theif, Fighter, and Magic User, and the "secret" one, the Paladin What I think would make a "QFG inspired" game even more awesome game-play wise is if you would add a 5th class, but the question is what would it be? Theif: solves things w...
