No. It's only possible to store your shield during the Shapeir-part, so Khaveen must be fought in straight fisticuffs-fashion. Using spells against Rakeesh or Walid immediately aborts the battle. Well, the intro movie thing doesn't really bug me, I just wanted to play through QFG3 as a Paladin without acquiring spells.

What if, using Blue Frog mode I set all my spell skills at the end of QFG2 to 500, do you think they will carry over or be reset by QFG3?
