I think the main value what I see on this is the several ports that scumVM has on plenty of platforms. I'd love to play a Quest for glory 3 again on my Nintendo DS for example..

The game is AWESOME!!! and just if you wanted to know, it works perfectly with Wine on Linux. Playing QFG2 VGA again makes me feel wishes to play the whole saga again from 1 to 5. You made an excelent work. I hope that the Coles come back to the game industry some day with the return of new adventur...

I am also member of the community of ADVA (http://www.adva.com) a group of game developers from Argentina and once in a while in the adva forums some guy show up and ask for people to team up and develop a remake or the <last + 1> version of some famous adventure, like monkey island 6, loom 2, etc. ...

Only if the 3D is used for cosmetic purposes like in the new Sam&Max. The 3D is used in the esthetic's but it is not involved in the gameplay the way that the player interacts with the game responds to a bi dimensional environment. In QFG5 the 3D didn't contribute to improve the gameplay I would...
