Re: The Father (Spoilers)
"Item", of course, being an anagram of Time.
Also "Emit".
And "mite" (colloquial for 'tiny').
So, a small wormhole which generates temporal instability. Or not.

Re: Slight Inconsistency in Intro
There's a lake in Mt. Gambier, South Australia, which does exactly that (sometimes looks blue, other times grey). Wierd.

Think "Louie" from 'Interview with a Vampire', times three.
(The book, not the film.)

Re: King's Quest II: Romancing the Stones v3.0 Released!
I did. It was a different take on the Sharkee King. In retrospect, it might have worked. In any event, that's the fun of being involved in a game's development. Everything changes several times before the public gets it.At first I thought you meant one of her older sketches.

Re: King's Quest II: Romancing the Stones v3.0 Released!
could someone tell me what the original murray line was? "I am Murray, the demonic talking skull!" Wish I'd thought of it. :) i love the Sharkee King, seriously better and scarier then the old Lion Head Face it had. You should have seen the one we first 'auditioned'! <runs away to hide fr...

Re: Australian Bushfires
I've been hearing a lot of horror stories over the past week or so. Cannot tell you how glad I am to know that yours isn't one of them.
Good to have you back, mate.

Re: The vampire plot change
is there anybody else who hated what the count did to Possum and her grandmother? Nasty, wasn't it? Would you believe it was an act of love? The count wanted to protect his family against the Brotherhood. Turning them into vampires served that aim. If memory serves, I had planned to revisit Anastas...

The clue to his real name might be found in Kolyma's library - if the libarian is in a good mood.

Re: The "Thanks" thread!
This being the only AGDI title I've not been involved in, I have had the (stress-free) privilege of watching this game develop over the many years. I still feel the awe I did way back then, seeing so much talent combine to produce a fantastic result. Ok, I'm biased. Nevertheless, I congratulate ever...

You too?I hope the whole Father thing is fixed or cut out from KQ2VGA, because there are two Threads about it and the Game still confuses me at that part.

I'd like to see one take place between KQ2 and KQ3 from Graham's point of view. T'would be interesting to see what went on in Daventry (if anything) while Alexander was growing up a slave. I imagine it would involve Graham progressing through his royal cellar at an alarming rate. Mead, of course. B...

Anyhoo, how do they choose who gets to test the beta? Potential testers had to include (with their application) a log book of all hours spent in the sand box when they were little. Hopefully, nobody will notice that our version of QfG2 fell short of the sand quota. Can you believe they charge for t...

Let sleeping McGuffins lie
The Father was a way of tying the games together. The inferences to the BCS seemed a more natural way to do this than a 'new' band of baddies that no one had heard about. At the time, consideration was given to continuing the storyline in further remakes/games, until things got very busy on the comm...

Gawd, I hope not. It's hard enough trying to find my car at the local shopping centre. Don't need to add myself to the mix.Isn't Daniel Stacey missing?
