Re: Random rants go here.
First set I've ever recorded. Need to tidy up a bit with my transitions between tracks, but somewhat presentable. Dark Ronin - "Rise of the Ronin" Progressive Breaks Mix 1. Unusual - Tsewer Beta 2. Mandy's Song (Original Mix) - Ryan Sullivan 3. Break My Soul (Hybrid's Kill City Sounds Mix ...

Re: Random rants go here.
DJing is not as easy as it looks, in case anyone was wondering. Have got a pair of Pioneer CDJ-400s and a Numark DXM-09 mixer. Been practicing on and off when I've got a spare moment and might soon be ready to try and record a mix and whack it up on Soundcloud or somewhere similar. Playing a night o...

Re: Random rants go here.
Yeah, just had quite a few things going in real life (moved to Melbourne, had some issues going on with an ex-housemate, gone back to uni to study a Masters degree in town planning, and also about to start a new job auditing people's homes for energy and water usage so they can be eligible for $1000...

Re: Random rants go here.
Getting tempted to purchase a couple of CDJ-400s and a DJM400 (Pioneer CD turntables and a mixing console). Will have to wait until I get enough money, though (looking at approx $AU2500 if I budgeted right). I caught the DJ bug when I flew back to Perth for a couple of weeks in October and had a cra...

Re: A "present" for Skyshark
Haha, cheers. Ah, good old dodgy 80's video game covers that didn't quite match up to the game in question (especially with Megaman having the pistol).

Yeah, I'm being a bit conservative with my estimations here. It could be sooner, but given things that have happened with other projects, a quicker release date would be extremely optimistic, IMO. Then again, I'd rather as many bugs were found and corrected before its released, rather than rush the ...

My estimates, re: release date
Somewhat back on topic, I reckon QFG2VGA will be released between 1 September 2008 - 31 December 2008 (assuming thorough beta-testing by a reasonable number of beta testers being available (i.e. 15-20 people)).

Considering that brigands move about a lot due to a nomadic lifestyle, perhaps it could've been a case where only on a certain day (say, day 12), the camp would appear on a certain screen and you would've had to gather information on where to find it (via a sidequest). It could also be arranged that...

The difference between the Second Gulf War and a hypothetical Second Korean War is that the North Korean Army is about 1 million strong (not including reservists charged with defending their country, which brings the total to approximately 4.5 million) and are absolutely loyal to Kim Jong-Il and the...

Looks good! :) But... How big is the need for KQ2 SCI when there is already KQ2 VGA available? :rolleyes Because not everyone wants to play a VGA remake of a Sierra game. And to be honest, I like the feel of the SCI games more than the VGA games (call me strange, but the VGA games didn't feel as po...

I remember discussing a potential mod for QFG long ago where a new ranger class would be added. This character would be like an archer, but would be able to forage for reagents for making potions and use his own equipment to catch small animals using traps he owns or makes (think of the fox in QFG1)...

Considering how many close calls he had, I can't say I wasn't too surprised this happened. Still sad to hear he died, though. And just yesterday, Peter Brock (Australian motorsport legend) died in a racing accident when the car he was racing went off the road and hit a tree at speed. Two Aussie icon...

Music Head: Yeah, my parents are English as well, so I qualify for a UK passport. My dad's the eldest of 7, so I have quite a few cousins over there, some I haven't seen for about 12 years or so (last saw them on a family trip over in 1993), and I've got a grandma over in Bournemouth who heads off t...
