Re: AGD Quest for Glory 2 remake selling on ebay?

It does say Box Type: Floppy so I can only presume it's the original and the person selling it isn't aware the poster is to do with the remake but it's worth asking the seller a question just to make sure.

Space Quest II is available to download!

DECEMBER 30th, 2011 - After more than five years of working on the game, bit by bit in their spare time, the team at INFAMOUS ADVENTURES ( www.infamous-adventures.com ) has released their remake of the 1987 classic, "SPACE QUEST II: Vohaul's Revenge". Originally written and programmed by ...

I thought AGDI's SQ2 remake was cancelled due to another remake already in progress.
Well, it didn't stop them finishing KQ3! :p

Anywho, both Space Quest II and Kingdom of Sorrow look amazing. If you need evidence of this look no further. Yes, I like to plug that trailer whenever I can.

Haha, like how you get the Infamous award. We're not that bad are we? Hahaha. Isn't the second largest thread on your forums called the "drunk thread"? I think that answers your question. :p http://www.agdinteractive.com/forum/images/avatars/moodpics/Nashgrin.jpg Touche! I'll drink to that!

Re: Remake Comparisons

I don't know why we didn't include the whole birthmark thing in our remake. I was expecting us to make an animation of Alex revealing his birthmark on his arse and a Ren & Stimpy style close up to follow. Ah well, maybe because it'd have ruined the moment. You just killed a dragon, you don't wan...

Anyway, love the game and the awards system. Adds great replayability to it. Kudos, AGDI.

Re: Game Lengths - Past to Present

I didn't think Curse was that short, thought it was a reasonable length for an adventure game.

Grim Fandango is a pretty long adventure game. And it's my favourite game at that!

Well, I finally gave in and got myself a PS3. Just downloading latest firmware and stuff and off to play some Heavy Rain. My own little personal gift for finishing university. Going to step into the virtual world before I step into the real world.

Re: Day of the Tentacle Question - "friend of yours, Bernard?"

actually no, this references instead a maniac mansion puzzle where bernard (or any of the kids) microwaves Ed's pet hamster. if you talk to him in his room he'll talk about his hamster that something happened to but he never found out why. Although I can't check right now, I'm pretty sure Bernard w...

Hey I remember Alias. He was the guy who would agree with other people's constructive criticism over somebody's work and add "Yeah, it sucks!" Here's my first ever post here when AGDI was Tierra back in 2003. http://www.agdiforums.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1770 The funny thing is, ...

Re: Merry Christmas from Roger Wilco!

Jane Jensen was the designer of the Gabriel Knight series and co-designed King's Quest VI. For someone who came up with a pretty intensive Sierra quiz I would have thought you'd have known that. AGD2's present was an unpaid parking ticket that's name had been changed to Roger's so he would be the on...

Merry Christmas from Roger Wilco!

When he's not unclogging toilets and thwarting Sarien scum, Roger Wilco likes to take time during the holidays and open up a few presents to get in the festive spirit.

Re: About AGDI Games

Mostly I feel sad because, even though there are many attempts started at remakes, AGDI at least finished them! Infamous Adventures finished the remake of King's Quest 3 and are well on their way to releasing Space Quest II VGA very soon and LucasFan Games finished their remake of Maniac Mansion (M...

Re: Imac 3g question

Some of the later versions of the iMac G3 could have had Mac OS X Panther manually installed on there. Best advice is to put it on eBay. Check how much your pawn shop asks first though but after checking out eBay they had iMac's going for $50 or so. And there is still a market for them, my friend bo...

3. I thought Sierra's website was just called Sierra Online. Don't recall any other special name for it. 5. Christy Marx. Word of warning, do not start Fallout 3. Months of my life. It's very immersive and well done, I couldn't stop playing it. I'm a sucker for 50's related memorabilia, especially the music. Re: Space Quest Remake and Scott Murphy?

Thanks! No we haven't heard anything from Scott Murphy as far as I'm aware. Josh Mandel knows about it though and he is pretty damned legendary. It would be great to hear from the 'Two Guys' about the project, though. Can't be too sure what they'd think but I'm sure they'd appreciate what we're doing.
