Re: KQ3 Redux Release Date announced

How on EARTH did I predict that you would release this game on my birthday? Thanks for the present, guys. You're the best. ;)

Re: Future Remake: Part Duex

I've wanted a Conquests of Camelot remake since the first Future Remake thread a jillion years ago, and I want one again now first and foremost. That game is a classic and I'm saddened that Christy Marx only did COC and Longbow. I also voted for QFG3 because I think it would be a lot of fun to expan...

Re: new green & tan forum theme

I logged on to say something about KQ3 being released and literally went, "WOA." I had to walk outside and make sure I didn't fall into a time warp and find myself in 2003, :lol . Knight is right, though. It's good to see this old theme again. It's still hard to believe that it was so long...

Re: What makes a game replayable?

It's called the Extra Life 24-Hour Gaming Marathon or something like that. Essentially, you set up a page and maybe join a group of people doing the same as you (which I did) and raise money to sponsor you playing video games for 24 hours. All the money you raise goes to a local children's hospital ...

Re: What makes a game replayable?

What will keep me coming back to games is the simple fun of it all. At this point, I've played the Sierra library enough times that I will never forget a single iota of story or puzzle. The other day, I beat SQ1EGA in 20 minutes without dying. A few months ago, I played through every KQ, SQ, and GK1...

Re: A brief account of KQ3 Redux' history

I'd first heard of this game being developed only a little while after our KQ3 was released and have been eager to play it ever since. I'm not really around anywhere anymore (I try to only get paid for my writing and acting nowadays), but news like this will always bring an old warhorse back to fami...

Re: 24-Hour Gaming Marathon for Children's Miracle Network

I'm really scared about some of the parts, but I've actually attempted to go through each series without dying a few times. I don't recall if I actually ever succeeded (which I guess means I probably didn't as I'm sure I'd remember such a thing), but I figure since the charity is to help kids have a...

Re: 24-Hour Gaming Marathon for Children's Miracle Network

Oh, and I almost forgot! In addition to playing through all of these games, I am going to attempt to do so WITHOUT DYING ONCE! To reinforce this, I will NOT be saving early and saving often. In fact, I will not be saving at all. So again, visit my page and donate!

24-Hour Gaming Marathon for Children's Miracle Network

Hey guys! Some of you may remember me, but to all the new people I say hello! On October 16th, I'm going to be participating in a 24-hour gaming marathon to raise money for Texas Children's Hospital here in Houston. The Extra Life Marathon is a worldwide event that benefits Hospitals in the Children...

I finally got my chance to download and mess around with the game. I'll have more time to dive into it tomorrow, but I couldn't resist. You guys have made a damn fine game. I want to do unmentionable things to the new look of the alleyways. This is @#$%ing awesome.

I've jammed that CD before. It's on my iPod, actually. It's great music to jam out on road trips. I find myself listening to it on the way to RenFest every year.

I will say straight away that most every game I've been introduced to in this next-gen world that I've even taken a pause to look at has been on the 360. The fact that it got me to even pause is a testament to its glory, seeing as how I haven't gone within sniffing distance of consoles since the N64...

He's saying the board already exists but that nobody's posted at it and is asking us to start, thereby theoretically drumming up more buzz, interest and support for AGDI and/or Himalaya. Sounds like a fine idea to me. I'm always interested in improving and informing websites on things they should kn...

Yeah. Any "term" or "type" of abandonware is basically a philosophical argument on what is and is not ethically okay to download. Legally, it is all illegal unless it is released into the market as freeware (i.e. BAK). Ethically, there are people who see games that aren't availab...

It is my belief that the developer should choose whether or not a game should be distributed for free. They do. In the case of Betrayal at Krondor, they released it on their website as freeware for anyone to download as part of their marketing for Return to Krondor. They haven't done this with any ...

Neither of those systems has anything on the 360. While Mario Galaxy looks great, that's about the only thing on the Wii that does. I hear Wii Tennis and Wii Golf is fun, but the day I buy a console to play the sports games is the day I kill a yak from 200 yards away with mind bullets. As for PS3......

I'd venture to guess Shapeir was where the humans first settled. Both cities are built around magic fountains. Perhaps at one point the Katta had one and the humans had another and they were mutually exclusive, later coming together and building Raseir.

Yeah. In fact, you can work out the Father's entire agenda just by doing a little game research. It would be cool to see where he goes from there. It would also be cool to see a more fleshed out Llewdor, as well.
