I once found a website showing how a person had converted his NES to a PC. He couldn't get his NES to work, so he gutted it, put in a small PC mobo, and ran an emulator through it. He wired the controller ports to the parallel port on the mobo, so he could use the original controllers, and ran it ou...

Use a Q-tip with some Windex on it to clean the connectors on the cartridge. Made mine work like new again.

I really liked FFVIII, too. Like PumpkinChick, I wasn't too fond of the draw system, but I did like the GF system. I liked how the GFs and characters related to eachother and acted differently depending on who they were junctioned with. I think the other reason that I like it is because it was the f...

Blizzard doesn't charge for the use of battle.net for their Diablo games, unless you don't consider those MMORPGs (some don't, but then again I wonder what they ARE called ). I play single player D2 exclusively, so that's not really an issue with me, but that $70 investment ($40 for the game, $30 f...

(Not a double post :p ) I've noticed another glitch for you to look into, Navynuke, when you get the chance. When a post was edited, there used to be a message at the bottom of the post telling you when it was edited, and by whom. This message no longer appears. It isn't a big deal, but there have b...

If you click on a bush or something, it will say, "You can't actually pick it up, since it's just painted on. Wait for the 3D version."

You did find the hidden trapdoor into the basement, right?

IIRC, the carpet is positioned in the left side of the room, rolled up and leaning against some crates.

I don't have any saved games. However, since you now know the solutions to all the puzzles in the game, you really can progress through quite rapidly. In fact, if you just started again, you would most likely get to that point before you were even able to get any saved games. Have fun! :D

You still have two solutions available. You can flee before the wolves get to you, or you can fight them. It's a good thing that you brought something to use for self defense. ;)

Besides, the games were created by Tierra Entertainment. Just because that company exists in a different form now doesn't change that fact.

When you find the fishes, you will notice that they are swimming around something. What you need to do is get more of this and stuff it in the jar, so the fishes go into the jar to get it. [spoiler]The fish are going after the seaweed. Pick some from another screen and stick it into the jar. Then us...

Which graveyard are you trying to locate? One graveyard is to the left of the swamp castle entrance. The other is found by walking south through the church.

True. The odds of the egg occuring were greatly increased for the latest version. It went from 100:1 to 30:1, I believe.

I'm not sure about a quick save/reload function.

I will tell you that the variable that determines Larry's appearance is set when you enter the screen, not when you click on the door. Thus, saving and reloading won't work anyway.

Sir Nyrhinen, while your help would certainly be appreciated, you should check the dates on the thread before posting. Since this thread is a month and a half old, Lil has most likely solved the puzzle by now.

This reminds me of a column I once read by Eric D. Snider. Since I can't find the particular article, I will have to paraphrase. He starts off by saying that nothing in reality shows is real. Then he suggests that in the future, all the plot ideas will be written down, and all the lines will be prew...

Ahh, thank you Pidgeot. I knew it was something like that. Brainiac: Of course! I forgot about that. Probably because it is Japan only. I too often wonder how things would be different if Nintendo hadn't backed out of the deal. The reason they did was that Sony would have held the production rights ...
