I'm a fighter class but I fight better without the shield. Where can I store it in Rasier? Barring that, how can I lose it?

there's a chest in the lower right side of the screen. You can either right click it and go through that interface or click the shield in your inventory and click it on the chest, it looks simmilar to the chest in QFG3 What about in Rasier? There doesn't seem to be any place to stash the shield or ...

I'm on Day 9 with my Fighter hybrid (he's doing all the magic and theivery stuff too). I hadn't realized that this disqualified me from becoming a Paladin.

So.....does it matter? When I start QfG III, will it be possible to import the character as a Paladin? Is there a hack or a way around?
