How can I run the AGDInteractive games under MacOs High Sierra. Wrapper does not seem to work anymore

Im running Lion 10.7.3 and I've downloaded the latest copy of Trial By Fire (2.0) but it does not load. Double click the icon and it does nothing? Is this a known problem? Are there any fixes?

Real shame as it's a classic remake and what made it classic were these type things. If not, if does not make sense to use VGA mode either
