KQ4 AGD remake story
So, if there's no way for a KQ4 AGD remake to be made, is there any way we might know how the script would have gone? How different its story would be, from the original? What kind of puzzles it would have? And if anyone else wanted to make a remake using that story, would they be allowed to? I'm su...

Blocking trouble
I don't know if this was ever an issue in my past plays, but in my most recent fighter play, I'm finding it nearly impossible to block a brigand's strikes. In fact, many times, I can swear to God that I pressed the block buttons before his sword could come down at me, but I still end up taking a hit...

No more Murray?
I remember in the past, if you kept trying to talk to the skulls, one of them would be Bonehead from Quest for Glory and the other would be Murray from Monkey Island. But in my most recent play, I'm getting Bonehead's response, but not Murray's. Was he removed from the game? And if so, how come?

explosive powder
In my latest thief playthrough, I gave the rest of the explosive powder back to the druggist, after taking down the earth elemental with it. But I'm wondering though, was there any further use for it? Could I have used it during any other combat?

Re: Future Remake: Part Deux
Firstly, for those looking most forward to a King's Quest IV remake, I don't want to get your hopes up, but I can assure you that work is still being done on UnicornTales' KQIV 3D remake. Progress has been slow, due to the unfortunate and untimely passing of our artist - and my predecessor as projec...

Re: Zayishah naked
It was patched out in the next version when people complained that "If you don't know that the glasses will do that, you get disqualified for something you didn't know would happen." Hmm... I was unaware of that. Didn't really bother me so much, personally. After all, killing the gryphon ...

Zayishah naked
Isn't seeing Zayishah's naked body supposed to disqualify you for becoming a paladin? Because in my latest playthrough, I totally put on the X-ray glasses before giving her my extra outfit, and clicked the eye on her after she undressed, but Rakeesh still offered me Soulforge. At least I had the opt...

Pizza elemental bug
This happened to me once before, years ago, but at that time I had no idea what triggered it. I think I may have a better idea now. When he's getting ready to lasso you with his tongue, pressing escape seems to make him freeze in place, while 3 pizzas fall in the same places continuously. This leave...

Re: Trivial question about the game's plot
Well, to be fair, the KQ1 handbook does explain how the witch, dwarf, and evil sorceror stole the treasures. And the gnome does tell you that the item he gives you will help you in your quest. Obviously, if he intended to help Graham retrieve the stolen treasures, he wouldn't give him the key to a b...

Re: I feel like a heel...
Good garbanzo beans! I didn't know you could do that. Then again, I really can't imagine why you'd want to, unless there was an achievement for beating the game with an extremely low honor skill. Like in Heroine's Quest.

So... game hints?
I'd hate to be that guy, but it's been years now since the game was released and the game hints section still says coming soon. How soon exactly?

Re: Easter Eggs / Sierra (and other) references in KQ3R
While walking out from the kitchen to the for the first time, Santa Claus falls down the fireplace and out onto the kitchen floor. I just happened to be playing the game today, at just before 10:00PM, on Christmas eve and was surprised to see that one. Another one I found was when Manannan caught m...

Re: So... about The Father's plans... *spoilers*
Heh, bust as in the thing is busted I guess? 'Cause "bust" as a noun would be the sculpture of an upper body, and here it was just a pair of cupped palms. Actually, I meant his quest was a bust because that's what a failed mission is sometimes referred to as. But yeah, the joke is that th...

Re: What was the funniest thing you found in King's Quest II
Don't know if this one is still around, as I haven't gotten it to work in the version with the narrator voice, but... talking to the skulls in front of Hagatha's cave. I sure felt bad though, having to smash Murray to get the blue gem back.

Re: QFG Hex edit
The only way I found to lose honor as a fighter in QFG3, was to hang around in the Laibon's hut for a while. Each time he asks what you're doing there, you'll lose some honor points.

So... about The Father's plans... *spoilers*
First time poster, long time AGD fan, yadda yadda yadda. So, I just finished the game after learning about the black statue in the treasure chest; which is apparently the item that The Father was searching for. But now that its been smashed to pieces; which The Father doesn't seem too happy about, I...
