Re: Stealing a lamp from the Blue Parrot Inn!
How clever! I probably wouldn't have discovered that on my own, so thanks for sharing. I wish I weren't so impatient when playing these games; they're definitely designed to be tricky/sneaky like that with things you can do, but I often miss many of it because I'm too impatient to look and click eve...

Re: Zayishah naked
It's not really possible to make it visible on the character. There are many, many frames of animation, and it would need to be manually drawn onto each of them. As for having other characters react to it, that would also be difficult, since there's no way they could take you seriously with you wea...

Re: Zayishah naked
It was patched out in the next version when people complained that "If you don't know that the glasses will do that, you get disqualified for something you didn't know would happen." I think that's a valid argument, one that I especially can understand because that exact thing had happene...

Re: Stamina Drains as Wizard/Stats Sluggishly Improve
Hi, Zachski. Definitely not a stupid question; knowing me, the solution could be as simple and obvious as that! As far as I know, he should not be thirsty and/or hungry because I'm always good about getting in at least a couple meals a day and I refill my water skins regularly. I've never gotten on...

Re: Zayishah naked
Good point. I was definitely applying too much realism to a game, which I am often guilty of doing!adeyke wrote:Doing dishonorable things is still dishonorable even if no one finds out.

Re: Stamina Drains as Wizard/Stats Sluggishly Improve
Evening, adeyke. Thanks for the suggestion. I double checked just now to be sure; I am not overloaded. I can currently carry 4800 quarks and am carrying only 3567 quarks. That was a good idea, though, since (as you said) stamina will definitely drop pretty quickly if you're overloaded. Even so, I wo...

Re: Zayishah naked
When you think about it, how would Rakeesh ever know you had done that if you didn't tell him, she didn't tell him, and her nurse or whoever she is didn't tell him? So, if he didn't know, that certainly wouldn't disqualify you from being Paladin. Am I applying too much realism to a game? Maybe.

Stamina Drains as Wizard/Stats Sluggishly Improve
What's up, fellow players? I'm replaying the ol' remake again. I played QFG1 as a magic user and imported it to the remake. I'm now a Wizard (please hold your applause) in QFG2. I've noticed that for some reason my stamina drains crazy fast in this game. From what I've seen, it happens no matter wh...

Re: Can't talk to Julanar.
I figured out the problem. I had to keep trying it over and over until it would work. I noticed my Vitality went up, so I must not have had enough of that (though I don't know what that has to do with talking). Either way, just making him talk over and over seemed to work! Thanks for your help, I ap...

Can't talk to Julanar.
I've played this remake before and didn't have this problem, but for some reason this time around I can't talk to Julanar. Every time I try to it just basically says I suck at talking and leaves it at that. Nothing happens when I give her the water or earth, but I do get points. I have checked count...

Re: Mage's Initiation: Reign of the Elements
Is it really that expensive? Think about how much game companies normally charge for a game on release. $40? $50? $60? Right, but those are actual physical copies of the game. We're talking $15 for just a digital copy, so you wouldn't even have anything physical to work with...Plus those prices are...

Re: Mage's Initiation: Reign of the Elements
$15-20 for a digital download? Shoot, that sounds expensive for just a digital copy (though, I understand a lot of hard work and time goes into this). I'll have to decide if I'm willing to spend that or not. I may just spend more on the actual boxed set because I find the actual physical copy to be ...

Re: Mage's Initiation: Reign of the Elements
This game sounds fantastic. It sure seems to be taking a long time to make, but I think that's always expected with such detailed games as this. I'm glad to know that I didn't miss out on the pre-order; however, I'm a poor, lowly college student with very little money, so as much as I would love to ...

Re: King's Quest 8 Remake
"The spiritual father of Mask is J.R.R. Tolkien not Walt Disney" AWESOME. I just gained even more respect for her when I didn't think that was possible. Tolkien for the win! I think your idea is super awesome. One of my major beefs with that game was that Daventry looked nothing like Daven...
