We once had a mod named Erpy
Who became infected with herpes
He fell into a coma
And was flown to Arizona
Where it was hot - so he bought a Slurpee

There once was a fellow named Rudy Who cared not for youth nor for beauty But for ignorant sluts with thunderous butts Whom he did as a matter of duty. edit:  I thought it might be fun to make up limericks about the people on the forums.  Here's my attempt: A man named Robin Ferreira Collected catal...

I've been told to look at the Kibutsim for a good example of what communism could be.  That it worked very well but unfortunately went bankrupt.  Other than that, I don't know anything about them. I would say that a far worse example than Russian communism was the Khmer Rouge, in Cambodia.  They kil...

I think it would have been looked at much differently if we bombed a European city, even if it brought about the end of WWII.  I'm sure the bombing of Hiroshima was a difficult decision, and I'm not at all sure it was the right one. The Japanese were guilty of war crimes against the Chinese that wer...

I use an RSS feed from a computer hardware site to keep me updated on the latest prices on parts.  It's supposed to track the lowest prices but it rarely does.  It would be a good idea for AGDI since a lot of us, myself included, don't visit the main page, but if it's a lot of work I could just as e...

I like what you have so far, and it sounds like you have a pretty good start.  Keep us posted on the development, and forget about that stupid person.

After reading that, I thought your background must really suck if someone responded that harshly!   :lol Now that I can see it for myself though, it's really terrific.  A big improvement over the LSL3 stuff you posted a long time ago.  The moon, stars, fog, the trees, and the person are all A+ mater...

The question is open to interpretation.  If you asked me: if you could bring about World Peace, but would have to personally kill one innocent person to do so, would you do it, then I would say absolutely not.  I don't have the right to make that decision. However, world leaders have had to make dec...

I read these forums a lot and don't post nearly as much, so you probably don't recognize me . . . but I really hope you don't leave the forums, Fribbi, and if you do I hope things turn around for you.

I second moonlit's opinion.  I think the fisherman portrait doesn't need to be pixellated.  But it's really the artist's call.

I don't know.  I was able to use Artmoney, which is easier than using notepad or a hex editor, to find the spin counter and the score.

On the far end of the spectrum, consider very evil people who have had the power to influence people.  Hitler springs to mind.  He obviously had charisma in that he held sway over millions through the power of his personality. I think that charisma exists outside of any moral guidelines, and that th...

I don't collect anything.  Since I change residences so often I only keep the essentials.  But if I did, I could totally understand collecting Sierra catalogs.  What would be ideal is to have the games complete with the included catalog.  But I can remember the excitement of opening a game and looki...

I've never thought of the pope as "charismatic" exactly.  I would put him at a 14 or so in the d20 system.  Higher marks for intelligence and wisdom, to be sure. Kidding aside, I loved the pope dearly.  As one who is Catholic though, I think people outside of the faith sometimes overestima...

No, no, no . . . .

The joke was meant to fool people into thinking that the spammer was now on the AGDI forums.  It had nothing to do with your project being an April Fool's joke, or making fun of the actual Cain, or anything else.  Sorry if that wasn't clear.

Me too.  I got to about 11900 right away, and in the thousand spins after that one I only got a 1000 point spin ONCE!

I really hope I didn't waste all that time on that for an April Fool's joke.

I think this could have been handled differently.  Why did everyone swear up and down the other day that this wasn't true?  It's a pretty small community here, and I imagine quite a few people are feeling disappointed or lied to. Regardless, congratulations on getting the game released.  It looks ve...

Some aspects of the game were a triumph, others a flop.  Overall, I would place it halfway between a triumph and a flop.  A trollop.
