Re:
I missed the net for the longest time too... partly because I was too busy watching the ship leave while on that screen, and partly because I thought it was just just an animation of the water rippling off the pier post. <p>------------------<br>I think therefore I am ... I think???</p><i></i>

Re: Hmmm...
The one language foreign to me that I have learned much of is Spanish (Español). The coll thing I remember about it is that pronunciation is very consistent within the language. The words are even phonetically accented in normal writing. Also you could tell how to read a sentence right away bcause o...

Re: King's Quest 2 VGA Official Walkthrough released!
Very interesting and comprehensive walkthrough. Where did you find out about the tag attributes/codes to make text appear when clicking on a topic? This one "msimagelist" is probably one of the reasons it doesn't work in Mozilla. Microsoft has the habit of inventing new tags/attributes tha...

Re: thanks!
Hmm, I think I've finally come up with an alternate (lesser) point gaining solution that could have been implemented for this part. I know Graham can just leave south, but that gives no points. If Graham could throw the leg of lamb to the first wolf, then in a scripted sequence when the other wolves...

Heh, I realized a bit late that I forgot the meat, so option 4 is the first thing I ended up doing. I was determined to try to use all my inventory on him to get past him (besides the sword), and the one item happened to be before the crystal. <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :) --><img src=http://www.ezbo...

Re: resolution
I think there needs to be a note on the download page and possibly a sticky topic here with the topic "Do not use 960X600 resolution" and to try to avoid 640X400 unless 320X200 (which the game is designed for) absolutely won't work. <p>------------------<br>I think therefore I am ... I thi...

Re: KQ1
KQ1VGA is perfectly what it was meant to be. It makes me think "This is what Sierra's remake should have been. They should have waited for VGA." Remaking an lo-res EGA game in hi-res EGA was probably one of the reasons the original remakes flopped.<br><br>And I rather see more games remade...

I have a bunch of collections and original games from the original KQ1-6 collection to GK3. I ended up re-buying a newer version of the LSL collection to get the talkie LSL6. <p>------------------<br>I think therefore I am ... I think???</p><i></i>

Re: midi
I noticed something similar with KQ2VGA; except, that game adjusts my mixer's midi settings *down* quite a bit. I had to crank my speakers up to hear the music, only to jump when a sound effect played. I ended up having to download the digital music pack, which was painfully long on my dial-up modem...

I thought I'd not see it at all, but it happened the first time I went on that screen.
