False Microsoft Service Calls

Just FYI, someone has been callling up users of Microsoft products claiming that there are viruses on the comptuers. They ask that you are near a computer and they will "walk you through" a computer check. I contacted Microsoft and they are aware of these calls but they are false. DON'T do...

Re: May I post some of your songs on YouTube?

Thank you. I'll have those posted some time. I'm glad that you approve.

I'd like to have the credits for the song, so I can put those up as well. Give credit where credit is due.

May I post some of your songs on YouTube?

I wanted to post up the end theme and the song "When you Look Upon Me" on YouTube. However, I don't feel right doing so without permission. So, I am asking whoever made these songs; may I post them on YouTube?

Things left out.

Well, I've had A LOT of free time on my hands and I've been trying to fill it. I ended up testing the Space Quest II remake and found over 400 mistakes in it. I also did a video on the Easter Eggs, Things to Try, and Funny Messages in King's Quest 1. Well, I'm also working on a "Dead Ends"...

Re:  Random rants go here.

I'm looking for a couple old arcade game titles. Unfortunately, I don't know who made them or even a part of the title. Anyway, one of the titles was a side-scrolling fighting game. What was unique about it was that you'd occasionally defeat characters who would say, "I will help you." The...

Re: I need help developing a story.

The problem with a bracelet or a ring is that it's either too easy to remove or if it's something like the Manacle of Osiris found in The Mummy Returns it's too hard to remove. The badge sticks to your character like a strong magnet to metal and it doesn't change size depending on what you're attach...

I need help developing a story.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I had a dream a couple nights ago and I think that it would make a GREAT plot for a game. "I found myself on the set for the movie The Lion King, but what was weird about it was that Nala was just as big as me. Whe...

Re: What would I need to pitch this idea?

Yeah... I thought I could do it because when I first played Braindead 13 it looked like there were only like five people who worked on it. Thing was: I always skipped the true credits thinking the end sequence had them.

What would I need to pitch this idea?

I'm trying to get an animated adventure kind of like the games, Space Ace, Dragon's Lair, and Braindead 13 made. However, I only have a story and people are saying that's not enough. What do you think I need to have to get this idea out so I can start recruiting?

What are the deepest quotes you know from games?

I've decided to try my hand and writing a top ten list for GameFAQs and I thought a list of the deepest quotes from games would be an interesting read. However, I don't know that many quotes that seemed to be inspiring or insightful. So, I'm asking you what you think is a deep quote from a game, any...

Wrong death message

I know this is kind of late, but... If you wait on the ship too long after getting near Daventry, the game says "With no one to steer the boat, you're doomed to drift at sea forever." Thing is: this message comes up even if you don't rid yourself of the pirates.

Does anyone remember this show?

I remember a show where people would compete in a series of games based off the old west. The idea was that you were a new deputy or sheriff come to town and you had to fend of the bandits. Contests were: getting dragged by a stage coach where you had to climb your way up a rope and stop the horses,...

Re: You'll Never Believe this Urban Legend I was sent!

Yeah, that statue is actually of a wolf. The legend is, that the founders of Rome, Romulus and Remus were raised by a wolf. I don't know if the urban legend is true, but I do know that my younger brother used to squeeze the nipples of our dog when she wasn't lactating but still had the large nipples...

You'll Never Believe this Urban Legend I was sent!

My uncle sent me this in an e-mail. He didn't say where he got it but I got a kick out of it. Metropolis, TN - A new mother had just decided that it was time to wean her year old daughter and stopped breast-feeding her. Although this had been her first child, she had friends that had children and th...

I have had a simular problem with the games.  Are you trying to run it in Windows 98 compatability mode AND use the patch?  If you try to do both, the qucktime movies won't work.  You have to do ONE or the other.  I believe that if you try to do the Windows 98 compatability mode, you'll have to have...

That depends on how you insult him.  If you refuse to sit down and talk with him, or refuse to have a drink with him (meaning you order water or just don't order anything) that'll result in your death.  Strangely, if you refuse to drink AFTER you order it, he won't kill you. What I'm referring to is...

Insulting Ferrari

Something just occured to me.  In the original Quest for Glory 2, insulting Ferrari so that he won't tell you not to go out at night seemed to be a totally random thing.  Will you be fixing that?  Or was there always something that guaranteed he'd distrust you?

From Wikipedia Article on Bats (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bats) Although the eyes of most microbat species are small and poorly developed, their sense of vision is typically very good, especially at long distances, beyond the range of echolocation. It has even been discovered that some species ar...
