Part of the problem for adventure games

We all hear about the death of the adventure game genre. While it is true the genre will never completely die few people would argue it is a picture of perfect health. We have all heard many arguments as to why they are dying. I will add what I think is one small piece in the puzzle One thing I have...

Re: Dungeons and Dragons

I found both the rules and the two nerd activities limit very amusing .... Not that I have ever played D&D but surely surely the rules would have to include banning anyone who regulaly quoted monty python.

Re: What's next for ADGI / Himalaya Studios?

Would doing an episodic game get around the large development costs? I am not sying it is cheap to do each episode but it surely has to be cheaper then completing a full game. I think a full length game split into 3 episodes could be a great thing. Also potential buyers are far more likely to take a...

Question about engine

Just wondering if you were starting qfg2 from scratch would you still choose to use the ags engine?

Also if you were to make an original game in the style of qfg how much time do you think you would have saved with your knowledge and code from the qfg2 project?

Point

I think his point is that the PS3 is very expensive compared to other consoles. For him he sees more enjoyment  out of having the variety between an xbox360 and a wii then he would out of having just a Ps3. Obviously that is not going to be the same for everyone though and it comes down to personal ...

The Cheetahs may go ok in this years super14. the fact that the NZ teams are weakend by  resting of top players before our 4 yearly world cup choke will help out the Aus and SA teams. But personallyI think the crusaders will reign again, they have a good enough squad to win a few games while they ar...

You will find with all authors their writing is effected by their world view. Quite frankly I am not too bothered if a fiction book is atheistic, christian or something else in its "propoganda" if it is a good story I will read it

Saw the Chronicles of Narnia (2005) on Sunday arvo and thought it was a good solid film without being spectacular. It could have been fleshed out a little more.

I give it a 7

It is worth a watch for sure. So is the world's fastest indian when it makes it to foreign shore.
